Luxe Bidet MB210 Fresh and Hot Water Spray Non-Electric Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment from Luxe Reviews

leaked, had to return

dpk-VT from Vermont - 1 out of 5.

After reading the reviews on amazon, thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, the thing dribbled out of its business end into the toilet bowel. I couldn't get it to stop. I wasn't happy with this anyway, and was glad to return it, for a number of reasons. First, the hot water feature was not worth the effort (had to drill through drywall -- two layers -- and steel laundry chute -- front and back -- to get from sink hot water line to bidet. Sure wish I had realized that before ordering, but okay, my fault on that one. This hot water line connects with plastic parts to the bidet's tank that sits outside of the water bowel. Think about that when you are away on vacation, as far as more serious leaks potential is concerned. Also, upstairs bathroom is a long way from hot water heater, and even if preheat at sink, still have cold water in line to bidet. Nothing like a cold blast to your privates to start a vermont winter morning. And once hot water gets there, if don't have it mixed right, ouch! No thanks. Glad to be rid of it. Consider a bowel of water at the side of the toilet for TP tipping...

Luxe Bidet MB210

Ralph R. Lovelace from CLEARLAKE, CA, US - 3 out of 5.

I'm satisfied with this purchase however the description "Fresh and Hot Water Spray..." is msleading. You can only connect the bidet to one or the other, not to both "Fresh ahd Hot Water Spray..". Also, if you expect to connect the bidet to a hot water valve, the hot water valve would have to be within at least 18" of the right side of the toilet seat because the tubing sent with the product is only about 18" long. You would have to buy lomger tubing to hook it to the hot water valve.

good and simple

C. chen from usa - 5 out of 5.

This product is inexpensive, but it is good enough for most people. It's easy to install and very convenient to use. However, if there's no instant hot water supply nearby, then the single cold water model will be adequate. I found this out after installation, so I disconnect the hot water supply and block its intake connection, or cold water will leak out from the hot water supply tube. For someone who cannot tolerate a cold water wash in the winter, a build-in instant water heater (warmer)in the cold water line will be an ideal product improvement. Does Luxe Bidet have such a product?

Its worth.

Hernane B. Espiritu from hickory Nc - 3 out of 5.

The unit is worthy of fair review. However, I ordered two(2) but one of the unit leaks at the nozzle. It was then returned for replacemtent but due to unavailability of the same stock, item was returned and refunded instead. Suggestion: Install and test before the 30 days to make sure it will work the way you expect.

Good Product

Snowman55 - 4 out of 5.

I had this installed by a plumber to stimulate the economy, although the instruction seems simple enough for diy.

I'm happy with the product. This product works best in a small
bathroom, with the sink nearby, which is what mine is.

Notes:
1. if I'm building a new house, I'll probably go with a Toto toilet that has everything (bidet, warmer, autoflush, lights etc.)

2. I almost bought the Japanese seats they sell at Akihabara:
[...]
but balked at the different voltage (100V vs US 100V). I don't think it matters now but it stopped me from buying it then.
Anyway, the luxe is more than adequate replacement, without the complication of routing electricity to it.

3. The warm water is needed in my case. The ice-cold water during the Dallas winter this year is aching cold for my 'roids.

Luxe Bibet keep me asking for more - MB-210

Bobby1st from DE USA - 5 out of 5.

I received my Luxe Bidet MB-210 from 2Go Products. I have three MB-110, cold water only bidet installed and I was delighted for quick delivery. I am really amazed how clean and refreshing I feel after using it. All three MB-110 bidets where installed in toilets away from bathroom sinks. To make myself clear, I am talking of two houses where two toilets has it own little room inside the master bathroom, the other is shared toilet between two rooms, where each room have their own vanity room. For the another toilet I installed the MB-210, with hot and cold outlet control knob.

The MB-210 is
* easy to install
* made of quality smooth clean plastic material
* the controls knobs are easy to turn
* strong water pressure
* all parts comes in the box
* the only tools needed are flat (the widest) screw driver, wrench or adjustable wrench, maybe a drill
* save a lot of toilet paper
* save a lot of wipe if you use one

What I didn't like
* I have to open hot water faucet before I get hot water
* I have still to use small amount of toilet paper to dry up (optional)

The MB-110 and MB-210 are practically the same except the MB-210 has an extra control knob for hot water. To give you a quick review, there are two groups of parts, one for the cold water and the other hot water. The hot water group contains the longer flexible water tube/hose and the metal chrome "T" fitting. The Cold water group contains the shorter flexible water tube/hose and the plastic "T" fitting. There is long plastic tubing, a little bigger than a soda straw in diameter to connect the Hot T-fitting to the bidet fitting and Cold T-fitting to the bidet(cut it to size). You need an 11/32 drill bit to bore a hole on the cabinet. You need a Teflon tape to join metal to plaster or metal to metal connectors, plastic to plastic don't need one (optional).

These assembly steps are intended to those who need assistance.

The first step is to close the toilet main water valve and flush the toilet. There will be some water in the tank left. Get a small cup or cloth to get most of the water out the tank. Now close down the toilet seat cover and pry open the hinge cover located at the back to expose the plastic screws. Loosen it and hold the plastic nut under (both sides). Lift the toilet seat out and clean toilet before you place the bidet in the same location, aligning the adjustable holes to the toilet holes and place the toilet seat cover back on top of the bidet. Put the plastic screws back (both sides) and start screwing the nut, do not totally tighten it. Align all the parts (bidet and cover seat) to make it look professionally installed. Once done, do the final tightening.

Now remove the flexible water hose under the tank at both ends and replace it with the cold water group parts I mentioned above. You will need the Teflon tape (metal to metal and metal to plastic fittings). First attach the plastic T-fitting connector to the flexible hose, then attached the plastic T-fitting to the water tank, then the other end to the main water line. I find this sequence easier. Next, get the plastic tubing and unscrew the cap on the plastic T-fitting and insert the cap on the tubing facing the T-fitting. Push the plastic tubing on the nipple (make sure it's inserted tight) and screw the cap back, this is a compression connector. Again do the same at the other connector on the bidet side. There are two nipples connectors on the bidet side, look for the cold nipple connection. Measure the length and cut the plastic water tubing and connect. The cold water line is now completed, open the main water valve and check for leaks.

To connect the Hot water line, under the bathroom sink, close the hot water valve located on the left side of the sink. Remove the line connecting the water line to the sink. Follow the same procedure as the cold water connection only using the hot water group parts I mentioned above.

Lastly, bore a hole in the cabinet 11/32 or a little larger will do, insert the plastic tubing. To attach the plastic tubing to the metal T-fitting, remove or unscrew the cap and insert it on the tubing facing the T-fitting. Push the plastic tubing on the nipple (make sure it secured) and screw back the cap, this is a compression connector. Do the same thing on the other end toward the plastic T-fitting but this time connection it on the hot nipple connector. When done, the hot water connection is completed, open the water valve and check for leaks.

Open the sink hot water faucet until hot water comes out and close. Seat down on the toilet seat and open the hot water control knob slowly until you find the right pressure. Turn on the cold water control knob slowwwwly and mixed to acceptable temperature level. Enjoy!

I find the Luxe Bidet by 2Go Products to be reasonable price and quality, I enjoy having it and I am not done with all my toilets yet. I recommend this product and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Good Quality Product For your Over-ALL Health

Kevin from Bothell WA - 5 out of 5.

I bought Luxe MB210 based on its reasonable price and good customer review. The shipping was quick and the installation was easy. All parts were included, so no trip to Home Depot is necessary. My house has a pretty old hot water copper pipe which is pretty tight, so I used my plumber's wrench. The normal wrench was just too weak to do the job.

The sealing design of Luxe MB210 exceeded my expectation. All four sealing locations are easy and tight. I placed a water alarm after installation for a few weeks, but NOT even a drop of water leaked.

It was my wife who wanted to buy this bidet most because she was pregnent. However, now my son and I always fight about who should get on it first.

After a few months useage, I found the bidet is NOT just a clean tool, it indeed makes me more healthy. I feel I am losing weight and becoming energetic because of it. This is NOT strange, because it is common sense that getting the waste stuff out of your body faster is a proved way to become healthy and live long.

I highly recommend it to everyone!

This thing is awesome!

Mr. Congeniality from Honolulu, HI USA - 5 out of 5.

I just had umbilical hernia surgery a day ago, so my range of motion has been limited. This has included using the restroom. So I bought this item with overnight shipping and it has been a godsend. My wife installed it in 10 minutes, and I feel so clean with no effort whatsoever. This product is the real deal.

No warm water

James J. Devaney from Eugene, OR - 4 out of 5.

Product is easy to install and has good hardware. There is a difficulty if the toilet is not close to a warm water outlet (sink). I've only been able to hook up the cold (fresh?) water and it will probably take getting through some drywall and buying additional tubing to connect to a hot water source. Otherwise the setup is straightforward and can be accomplished within one hour.

Very happy with this product

G. Martin from Wisconsin - 5 out of 5.

This product is very fuctional and does what is supose to do! I've used the product over two months.
Hot and cold adjustment is one knob which blends the two together to any desired temp. Allow hot water to flow out of sink faucet first if your sink is a long way from the hot water heater. Using just cold water also works fine but I'm glad I have the hot water choice. Presure completley adjustable from off to max on with one knob.
The connection hoses work great and require minimum work to install. 20 minutes.
I am very satisfied with the quality of the materials and the design for the squirting works well. Better than expected. No more itch.

BIDET

C. Crumpton from Wyoming - 5 out of 5.

We LOVE this product. My husband was leery at first, and concerned what company would think when they came over and used the commode, but he quickly got over that. Product was easy enough for me to install, only problems were old hardware in my apartment...nothing to do with bidet. The instructions were sparse but not really necessary for installation.

My only gripe is that we do not use the warm water option. It takes a minute or two of running the water in the faucet before it warms up for the bidet, so it is kind of time consuming and wasteful to use it and there is still an initial "shot" of cool water to get the warm water moving down the line. When we move into a home and have a larger bathroom I probably will not even bother installing the warm water line. It works now because my restroom is really small so you do not really notice the line running from the toilet to the cabinet under the sink.

My husband did say the other day he had to "go" at work and was disappointed that there was only paper to use. Many of our guests have expressed interest in purchasing one for their home as well. My five year old son has become a professional, let me tell you it has helped his hygiene a great deal.

Overall this is a great product. I got it for a reasonable price and cannot imagine life without it.

Good Product

A. Chen from San Jose, CA USA - 5 out of 5.

Bought this for my mom for her birthday. It was easy to install and she loves it. I didn't hook up the hot water, because there's a wall/door between the sink and the toilet, and it would require drilling a hole in the wall to get the hot water tube from the sink to the toilet. Cold water works just fine though.

Amazing little product!

ValueShopper from New York, nY - 5 out of 5.

Why spends hundreds of dollars buying a bidet or seat/bidet combo when this product will do every thing that you need?? Installation was breeze and there were no leaks at all. I would recommend using teflon tape just to be sure. Product allows you to regulate both temperature of water and the intensity of the water jet.

After a couple of weeks I'm considering installing the product in all my bathrooms. Even if you don't use it every day, it's nice to know it is there when wanted.

After much research on how to get bidet functionality, I'm glad I chose this product. Buy it...don't think you can go wrong given the price and quality.
