Luxe Bidet Mb110 Fresh Water Spray Non-electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment from Luxe Reviews

Satisfied with my purchase

Ellen Fay - 4 out of 5.

The Luxe Bidet is a quality item. Although not difficult it takes a bit of dexterity to attach. Toilet seat does not tighten completely because of the angle but it still rates 4 stars.

It works!

J. Jose from Louisville, KY USA - 5 out of 5.

There are some very fancy and expensive toilet bidets out there, but they ultimately all do the same thing -- spray water on the bum. This one does the job in a very simple, easy-to-use manner and it's quite inexpensive. Been using it for a couple of months and will never go bidet-less again. I highly recommend this unit.

Revealed "Issue" with this product!

Hawaiian Eye from Maui - 5 out of 5.

I read all the reviews, and decided after weighing all the similar products, to purchase this one.
And I am not sorry!
You are reading these reviews, because YOU, (Yes YOU!) are very interested in one of these.
Other people wouldn't care one bit. They probably think you are "different" for even wanting one of these in the first place. Butt, whether you're undecided or not, you'll see....you're going to get this one.

Here's something on the "mechanics" side...
These install so easily, you will think you are leaving some important step out! "What? That's It??"
I was concerned the unit may leak at the water source junction, but that is very secure, strong and tight!
I installed my unit, And immediately enjoyed the comfort and relief it provides.
You'll see. You won't even wait til you have to go, before testing! Ha, ha!
You can't really call it a "Dry Run" though.
My wife regularly invades my bathroom now. "Go get yer own, ya little scalliwag!" "Aaarrr!"
OK, I'm gonna have to get a second one!

Alas, after a week, the retractable squirter part, developed a slow drip into the toilet bowl. Nothing bad!
I called 2Go Products, (the company who makes and distributes these), and they assured me, this drippage is NOT normal even after time. They rushed me a new unit! All expenses paid! I live in Hawaii too!
Most companys get all weird when they hear this. "We ship to the lower 48 states only, Dude!"
But not 2Go products!! They were great! I'm sure you can depend on them too!
This fact should help you in your decision NO?

Meanwhile, being the master mechanic I am, I took apart the non-working unit, and examined it.
The unit is held together by small, self tapping screws that are the norm by todays standards.
Neat, clean and tight assembly!
These units are light weight in design, and built of simple parts. Simple is good! Especially around water!

But, then I noticed, the 2 screws that hold the retractable sprayer housing onto the mounting frame, are well on their way into corrosion!
The chrome plating on BOTH screws were already rusting through. (these screws are not stainless steel)
Both screws were solid black from corrosion, and bleeding black into the surrounding plastic.
This is from the normal caustic nature of urine. Surprisingly though, this happened in only 1 week of use!
This in all probability is from the never ending story of...how should I say this??....
GUY PEE splashing everywhere it shouldn't! Hey! I don't wanna hear no complaints! This is the Real World!
NOTE: All other screws were new and untouched by corrosion, because there are no other screws over the toilet bowl area, only under the control panel, which is totaly out of harm's way!

Look, you gotta understand, these products are brand new, never before on the market!
I'm glad they designed and build these for the average Joe's pocketbook! Finally!
I'm sure the manufacturer will quickly remedy this! They are "good people"!
On the new unit they sent me, I simply sealed those 2 screws with clear silicone bathroom sealer. EASY!
I Let it dry for the recommended time, and then installed the unit.
Now, we're good to go! 5 STARS!

Easy to Install, Fiance loves it!!

Doe Pierre from Va. - 5 out of 5.

I decided to put this on the toilet myself as a surprise for my fiance, and it was so easy! I did have to go out and buy some plumbing tape and then used only a small piece, so it would've been nice if it actually came with some in the box, but the tape was inexpensive, and the bidet worked without any problem at all on the very first try.

My fiance loves this!! The cold water isn't a deterrent, and the simplicity of the design is very functional.

If I had to put one on again, I'd probably cut the white plastic water hose to make it a shorter length so it doesn't hang down as much in my particular installation, but this would be easy, and I may do it to the one I installed, though it being longer doesn't hurt or bother anything.

Personally, I haven't used it much and have not mastered not getting water on more of me than I would personally like, but he uses it very easily, having used a bidet in the past. It really is nice to use water to be cleaner!

Works great but.........

K. Sowinski from Portland, OR USA - 4 out of 5.

Works great! Hits just the right spot and the low setting is plenty strong. Only drawback is that it drips drips drips constantly about every half second and does not stop. Very annoying so we need to keep the bathroom door closed all the time or turn the pressure off at the intake when not in use, then turn the pressure back on for use. I don't know if I got a defective one or what....but it doesn't stop dripping. I even tried turning the pressure down but the only way to stop it is to turn the intake water off completely.

Comapre MB110 to Micca BD7

Wart050 - 4 out of 5.

I do not usually write reviews but find myself in the position of having both of these similar units. Both are acceptable and perform as expected.

Ease of Installation:
MB110- All items provided and easy for the handy person to install. A few more tools needed than stated.

BD7- Installs almost identical to the MB110 but a bit different hose hook up to the bidet. A problem with this unit is they do not provide a flexible hose for the supply to the tank as does the MB110. So, if you have a solid tube supplying water to your toilet tank, you will have problems fitting things together.

Adjusting:

MB110- While it has slots and numerous ways that the bidet can be attached under the toilet seat, I found that the overall adjust ability to be lacking.

BD-7- This bidet has a tilting mechanism that allows for more adjust ability. The unit seems to also have a greater range of adjustment when mounting to the toilet. This is all important as you either adjust your position on the seat or you adjust the position of bidet (hence the nozzle)

Use:

MB110- Once adjusted correctly, you have to move your body to clean areas not in the direct aim of the water stream. Can be easily done, but does require that ability (some disabled or limited ability persons may have difficulty)

BD7- The added feature of a tilting nozzle provides more flexibility without moving your body around. The tilting nozzle may more user friendly for female users and it also helps with a scrubbing action when you move it back and forth.

Conclusion: Both units seem to be well built (for the price)
Be prepared to purchase a flexible hose to supply your toilet tank if you purchase a Micca BD7. (that is if you do not already have one there)

Again both units are acceptable but I prefer the Micca BD7 due to the tilting nozzle and the presence of more adjustments for mounting.

Amazing feeling and easy to install

Shishir Vadhavkar from Milpitas, CA - 5 out of 5.

I just bought this for my toilet and installed it yesterday. The installation is a breeze. I would consider myself as a beginner when it comes to Home improvement projects and even I could install it in less than 10 minutes with no tools. One thing I would like to add though is that when I installed it first it was leaking a little bit from the T-adapter that attaches to the bottom of the toilet bowl. I tried to tighten it, but to no avail. Then I realized that there was a small black rubber casing in the package. The instructions did not specifically mention where that was to be used. I suspect it came loose from the adaptor when they shipped it to me. But once I put that in, there was no leak.

Now for the most important part. It is really great to use. Once you start using this you will not go back to using just the paper. Water definitely gives a much better and cleaner feeling not to mention the environmental impact of saving the millions of toilet rolls. Anyway I am going to buy one more for my other toilet.

Great Product

Johanna from Surf City, NC - 5 out of 5.

I am very pleased with the bidet. It came with all the required pipes and fittings and was very easy to install with no leaks. It functions very well, the water stream hits the spot and the spout stays clean and out of the way. I had my doubts about using cold water, but it feels quite comfortable.

Got a lemon... but got it exchanged promptly for a bidet.

T. Kim - 4 out of 5.

Revised 10/21/10:

After contacting Luxe, they promptly sent me a replacement that works. I test drove it and it performs well. The initial blast after turning the pressure knob slowly is a bit strong (I have to get used to it I guess) but you can turn it down after that. It takes a minimum amount of pressure to drop the nozzle down. Other than that, I am finally really happy about this purchase.

[Original Post]
I was highly anticipating using this bidet after a trip to Japan and Korea where I got to use more expensive electric bidets at the hotels. After installing as instructed, I slowly turned the pressure knob on the bidet up but the arm did not extend (pop out) to expose the nozzle. The water merely dripped out of the arm instead of through the 4 nozzle holes. I have at least 60 psi at the valve so pressure is not a problem. There is no blockage to the bidet in the lines. I must have got a lemon unfortunately.

If you're looking for a GREAT poor man's bidet, this is it

CindyS from MI - 5 out of 5.

We've had this Luxe MB110 bidet about a month now and are extremely pleased. It was easy to install, even for me, who doesn't normally do this sort of thing. We used to have a Biffy for about 3 years, but it wouldn't fit our new toilet, and their customer service wouldn't even respond to me. Now, I'm glad the Biffy is history because this unit works FAR BETTER - probably because there's so much more directed water pressure. In fact, toilet paper has become just something to dry with so we've even ponied up to the expensive Charmin in the red package! As another reviewer mentioned, you have to sort of adjust your position around it, but I'm getting used to it easily enough. Also, the customer service from this company is remarkably good. I contacted them presale and once afterward, and they were very helpful and responsive. My only complaints are that the quality flexible metal water pipe that came with the unit was about 1-2 inches too short for my old house setup. Also, it would have been nice if it included some bumper pads for the toilet seat, as our "soft close" type seat has a bit more of a gap than it does without the bidet installed. In summary, we like the MB110 bidet far better than our old one, and it costs a lot less, too. Also, the customer service is stellar. I think you would be pleased with this product.

Worried About Leakage

R. Davis from Arlington, VA - 1 out of 5.

I ordered a Luxe Bidet MB110, but returned it because of concern about (what appeared to be) flimsy plumbing connections. The piping appeared to be nothing more than very thin plastic.

I don't doubt all the good reviews. Nevertheless, if this device were to spring a leak, there could be serious water damage to my house.

So, I bought a Toto Washlet S300, which not only works great, but also has very high-end plumbing connections. The Toto Washlet costs far more than a Luxe Bidet. Nevertheless, just for the peace of mind alone, it's worth it to me.

This is the best bidet

Michael A. Jayjock from Langhorne, PA USA - 5 out of 5.

This is the clearly the best bidet I have purchased. We paid hundreds of dollars to put in a standard stand alone bidet in our upgraded bathroom. We have also put in a Biffy. This one is the best of the three in my estimation. Very easy to install - great price and it just works.

Luxe Bidet MB 110

andoc - 4 out of 5.

Product: as described. Very functional. You will feel cleaner and you will save toilet paper. Try it and you would not be disappointed. Actually, you will end up recommending it to close friends and relatives.
Installation: easy. Just look at the pictures and read the instructions before proceeding. Common sense prevails. Cut the length of the plastic tube last. (See my descriptive picture). I used plumber's tape for insured no leak connections.
Wish: I wish I have seen this product sooner.
Amazon: I have bought from them before. No problems here.

Can't live without!!

Paula - 5 out of 5.

Fantastic product! We are from Argentina and were dying without a bidet.
Fortunately I found this product. It was simple and very well priced. Works great.
I actually bought two, one for our bathroom and one for the guest bathroom. As soon as my kids are old enough I'll be buying one for them as well.

Great product, but not a paper saver for me

Lindybell from California - 5 out of 5.

So many reviewers mention how they've cut their toilet paper use dramatically, but I don't find that to be the case. How can you possibly get clean by just spraying with water? When your hands are dirty, you don't just run water over them--you use soap and rub, then rinse and dry. Since I found using water only less than satisfactory, I bought a foaming hand cleanser, poured out the antibacterial soap that was in it as I wanted something more gentle, and refilled it with about 1/5 Johnson's baby wash and 4/5 water (you can't just use pure soap or it won't foam). I use dry paper for initial cleaning, then a 3-square wad of 2-ply paper with 1 pump of soap foam, then final rinse and dry. Works wonderfully!

As for the bidet itself, installation was easy, but I did have a little leak after a week or so where the tube connects to the bottom of the unit. I had to tighten the plastic nut really tight, and was a little concerned it might break, but it didn't. I would recommend you put a bowl or pan under it for awhile to make sure no leaks develop.

The only thing I don't like about the unit is the look of the slotted area where the bolts of the seat go through. It is very visible when the seat lid is down. I didn't see any pictures online that show that. Not a deal-breaker for me, but you might not like the look in a guest bathroom.

Affordable and installs easily... Now if only all my friends would buy one!

LemurTech from Ashland, Oregon - 5 out of 5.

In Southeast Asia, where I lived for 17 years, water is used for cleaning your behind. Most commonly, you hold a water scoop with your right hand and pour water down your crack. With your left hand, you sort of splash the water about down there until you are squeaky clean. Afterwords, if you have toilet paper or other tissue handy, you can use just a bit of it to dry off. Then you pull your pants up, wash your hands, and be on your way. There are variations on this theme found all over Asia. In fancier establishments, the toilets will have a fixture, much like the item being sold here, that squirts water right up into the right area, so that cleaning is basically hands-free (other than adjusting the water pressure).

This may all sound strange to the American who has grown up wiping with toilet paper, but let me tell you, after you get used to it you find that cleaning with water is far faster, far more thorough, and feels so much better. So much so, in fact, that the thought of using toilet paper for wiping again will simply sound gross. Perhaps you will even find yourself laughing, as I and my wife sometimes do, about all the poor TP-using sots in this country who don't know about the alternative. "Yes, there goes so-and-so... handsome guy, and well dressed, too--but I'll bet he's still wiping his butt with paper! Yuck!" And if you are at all environmentally-minded, think of the astounding numbers of trees that must be felled to produce all that toilet paper! You can probably Google the statistics if you want, but do you really need to?

We came back to the US on a tight budget, but this was one purchase that I put at the top of the list. I did my research carefully, looking for something well-made at an affordable price. We've had ours for a few weeks now. It installed in about 15 minutes, and in my case I needed no tool other than a utility knife to trim the hose running from the T-adapter that hooks to your water supply to the bidet unit itself. Remember! You must have a two-piece toilet model to install this bidet!

It works marvelously. The water jet intensity is adjustable by turning the little dial. This bidet may complicate your toilet-cleaning routine, since there are extra spaces for grime to hide on. It's worth the little extra trouble, though. Yes, this model only uses cold water, but I find that plenty refreshing. And anyways, are we *cleaning* or trying for something more, um, stimulating? Cold water is fine.

This bidet is specifically made to handle butt-cleaning. If you're a woman who wants a splash of water after you go wee-wee, then you may want to consider one of the models that offers that option. It will cost you a bit more, though. With practice most girls will be able to just lift up the tush a bit to adjust the angle of the water stream to hit the perfect spot.

We've only had this for two weeks. If there are mechanical problems in the near future, I will be back to amend this review. But so far, all I have are good things to say about this bidet!

HYDRO HEAVEN

jujululucoocoofoofoo from Ooltewah, TN, US - 5 out of 5.

Luxe Bidet MB110

Read the reviews, was convinced by all of the positives. Bought it, installed it, did not use the extra pipe, didn't cut the plastic tubing. It took me and my cousin longer than most b/c we fight every time we do stuff. However, I digress: To say that I am extremely pleased is an understatement. It worked correctly immediately and has got me thinking about furnishing the world with them.

We had a problem with getting the plastic cap screwed tightly to the bottom of the tank because there was very little space on the valve side. We had to take the bidet off of the toilet, tighten the plastic nut and then put the bidet back on.

After a few uses, I noticed that water is leaking from the bottom of the tank. Am I supposed to use teflon tape because there were no instructions about where and how to put the tape.

Regardless, I still like it, and if I have to keep a bucket under the valve I'll do it. It was worth every penny. I have dubbed it the (__(__)Master

great inexpensive investment FIVE STARS, NOT 2!!!

G. Martinetti - 2 out of 5.

This is an inexpensive and great bidet. I have no room in my bathroom and would loved to have had a bidet. They use them all over europe, I cant figure out why in the world we dont use them here????? What a great personal hygiene machine. It was easy to hook up, water comes from your tank so is clean, few parts so hard to break, the cool water is no problem as that part of your bum doesnt mind anyway. Highly recommended. I am going to order another one for the guest bathroom. Id give it 5 stars but I cant figure out how to do it!!!

...and it saves trees too

texashornsfan - 4 out of 5.

I bought this bidet to reduce the amount of TP and wet wipes my family uses and after 3 months it is doing exactly that. I project that this bidet will actually pay for itself in paper goods savings in less than a year and it helps to save the trees too. I like the ability to control the water pressure and duration of the flow with the dial. I was a bit leary of the lack of a heated water option, but have found that the temperature of the water from the line is just fine. The bidet was easy to install and took less than 10 minutes with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. I paid less than $60 but noticed that it is priced higher than that now so I would suggest that you wait until Amazon drops the price again.

Better than my old biffy!!!

Ralph M. Santangelo from PA - 5 out of 5.

Hi
I owned a biffy bidet before this product. The first one broke and was replaced under warranty. The second one started to leak and could not be used anymore. I contacted Biffy twice by email and was ignored both times. I decided to try another bidet and I'm glad I did! This product works better than my Biffy and it was very easy to install.
This bidet is also half the price of a Biffy Bidet and it works GREAT. If your looking for an add on Bidet look no further cause this is the one.The pressure is better with this bidet which allows for a faster clean up.
Stay away from Biffy because once they have your money your of no use to them anymore. Ignoring old customers is not a very good idea for customer service. To be honest, I'm glad they ignored my email's because I would never have found this product!

Better Than a New Porsche

M Maximillian - 5 out of 5.

We recently installed non-electric bidets on our two new toilets. I'd like to make another report a year from now, but as I write this review, I can't say enough good things about thsi product. It is super easy to install, it meets or exceeds my expectations, and it look good.....sort of high-tech and modern. AND...I don't have to register them at the local DMV! I was afraid that it might look "cheesy" and cheap. This is not the case. Couple this with our wonderful new toilets recommended by Consumer Magazine and lids with non-slamming lids.....it's like having a new car! My son who lives in Dallas was here during the installation. He's going to buy one for his wife's birthday (along with another more appropriate gift)! His wife is from Europe where bidets are commonly found in the home.

So, here a big thank you to all the people who have made product possible. THANK YOU!

Wet and Wild

Karl - 4 out of 5.

The mother of all Bidets is the Japanese Toto. These units have self lifting seats, heaters, blowers, wall mounted controllers, pulse modulating streams and by far, are the best. I have used them many times in Japan and fell in love with them. The only problem is, they start at about $600+ but, if I ever had the means I was ready to buy one. Since I like to keep the back door clean and fresh, I wanted a suitable substitute. I purchased the MB110 for $60 and hoped it would do the job. Installation was 20m. No problems there. Operation is pretty good. No issue. My only issue with the unit besides missing the warm water is the stream itself. The stream is very fine and can take some getting used to for a comfortable experience. I use mine in the morning even if there is no urge to evacuate. With a Toto the stream location is adjusted with the keypad. With the MB110 you position yourself in the right place. I like to bend over a little and gradually add pressure. You will feel the water enter and pressure building. Adjust your pressure accordingly and allow the water to exit normally without pushing it out. With practice, you will have water entering and exiting. Maintain this cycle for a few minutes then shut off your water. Allow another 5m for the remaining stool and water to exit. You are now clean and fresh and you have removed toxic stool from your colon that would likely be sitting around until you get home from work. Just be careful the first time you flatuate. If you still have some water lingering, you may have to go home and change your undies. Overall, I'm happy. I will probably "T" in a hot water line before winter. If you live in a warm clime then it's no problem. Actually, the cool water is refreshing in the summer. Good buy...Enjoy

Wonderful idea, won't fit my strange toilets

Johnny from Minneapolis, MN USA - 1 out of 5.

Let's be clear: there is nothing wrong with the construction of this item. It looks like it would work well.

And Customer Service was excellent, responding to an email on a Sunday!

But it does not fit my toilet and they don't make one that does.

Our toilets are about ten years old. They have elongated seats, and at the time it was stylish to make the top of the toilet base the same width as the tank. This puts the left-hand seat bolt about 5.5 inches in from the edge of the base - and the largest distance that their adjustable design will handle is 5.0 inches.

I thought about making it fit by cutting it apart; but I think I'll wait instead until they come out with another model - whenever that is.

In any case, the design is brilliantly simple and should work quite well for most toilets.

Quick & Easy installation

Sanjay K. Gupta from Fremont,CA - 5 out of 5.

I did not have to use any tool to install this. Installation was very easy but I have asked Seller to put some kind of Video tutorial or you tube video to show installation.

If I start /turn on water from Bidet without sitting on Toilet seat, Water comes out, it does not go to bowl even with very low setting. Is it normal or do I need to adjust something. I have asked this question to seller and he said this is normal. I was looking how to avoid kids from accidentally using it.

This product is really good and cost effective. I have tried another Bidet from Amazon (Micca BD7) and did not like it all and returning it. This product is far more better and does it job properly without creating any mess.

WONDERFUL ECO FRIENDLY PRODUCT FOR CLEANSING

M. Lee from Washington, U.S.A. - 5 out of 5.

We LOVE THIS BIDET!!! Can't say enough good things about this Bidet. At the risk of getting a bit graphic, let us say...this thing will clean your bottom spotless - leaving NOTHING on the small amount of toilet paper used to dry off. You will save money on toilet paper that should pay for the Bidet immediately the first month in any household of two or more people. This thing pays for itself!! After one week, we are crazy about this thing.

This would be great for women on their cycle, and people with bowel problems.

Took very little time to install. It is simple and came with good parts and instructions.

So, if you want to FEEL SO CLEAN, SAVE MONEY, AND CUT BACK ON THE WASTED TREES USED FOR TOILET PAPER --- BUY ONE OF THESE!

It is a super super wonderful non-electric product.

I don't know how I lived before this. I really love it. I feel so clean after use. It can be so powerful it can hurt so be careful. I have a well with not much water pressure, but this does not make any difference. I use to use a lot less toilet paper, but not now. There is nothing I would change about it. I'm going to order another one for my other bathroom and one for a wedding gift.

Just bought two more

Klyde from Yakima, WA USA - 5 out of 5.

We liked our first one so much, we bought two more after one week. This is a practical, economical, no-nonsense unit - not too hard to install and works just like we were hoping it would. I think I had used a bidet (free standing in a San Francisco hotel) once in my life and my husband had not ever used one. We've only had these for about a month, but we are sold. We don't feel like we could live without it now that we have one in every bathroom. We like that it does not have a heater or a dryer - less to go wrong. Highly recommended; feel fresher and cleaner than you ever have before!

I'm a like the way she feels. Took all of ten minutes to install, and works great. Puts the water stream right where you want it to be.

Without an adjustable sprayer, this thing is useless

Flippy Smith - 2 out of 5.

I always wanted to try a bidet and bought this item after reading all the reviews. Setup was simple but as usual the claims of 5-10 minute installs must be from the company. As most people know, working with plumbing and anything needing adjustments can take much longer. It took me about 45 mins. The product is very lightweight and flimsy (the shipping box couldn't have been more than a couple pounds at most), but once installed, the knob portion looks good and feels solid.

After I tried it the first time it didn't spray straight, so I tried to adjust it by turning the sprayer but it's not adjustable. Then I tried to loosen the toilet seat bolts and turn the entire unit, but even after turning it completely crooked in relation to the seat and the bowl it still sprayed crooked. I disassembled the unit to try to unscrew the sprayer and rotate it, but again found it wasn't adjustable. I put it all back together and got the sprayer as straight as possible, but the bidet was completely crooked on the bowl to do that.

Now after using it a few times (by lining up with the crooked sprayer) I've found that the major problem with this unit is the sprayer doesn't spray upward enough, and you can't adjust the angle. It completely soaks your rear and you think you're getting clean but you ended up finishing the job with toilet paper as usual. This is the first time I've used a bidet so I'm not sure if they all do such a poor job or not.

I would recommend buying a unit with an adjustable sprayer.

Can't Beat It For the Money

GoodCustomer - 5 out of 5.

First, if you're just thinking about trying one of these, go for it. I was hooked immediately. These cheaper models are very simple and take only a few minutes to install. When you look at descriptions and photos, you'll see that some provide hardware to take water from the cutoff valve, and some take it from an adapter at the tank connection. The tank connection method is most certain to provide you with hardware that will work with your toilet. There are various kinds of cutoffs and ways to connect tank supplies to them, and if your bidet is supposed to connect there, you may have to do some adapting. Of course, there's no compatibility problem that can't be solved by a trip to the hardware store. No tool required. If you have weak fingers and choose to use pliers to tighten the T adapter onto the tank connection, use care. It's easy to strip a plastic fitting. Most people will not need the tool at all.

This particular model has a simple valve that only turns one direction. As with many of these, most people will not use the highest pressure position. It's both uncomfortable and may spatter outside the bowl. But better to be able to use high pressure than not having enough. I don't expect a lifetime product for this price, but it's a simple device that should last a long time before the valve starts failing to cut off completely.

All the usual cautions about watching when there are strange children in the house who may experiment with the control and tend to get hit in the eye with the water stream and run crying, leaving it on to soak the bathroom.

Bidet is overrated

N-end - 3 out of 5.

Bidet like this one or similar one is overrated.

1. you will use more toilet papers and plus water. How do you dry yourself w/o toilet papers? There is no "alternative to rough toilet papers" as it claimed.

2. Is Bidet like this w/o self-clean mechanism really sanitary?

3. Single, not dual nozzles. This really limits half of intented applications.

4. Cold water. Try to use it in winter where it snows.

Good Product no adjustments

Hannas from Riverside, California - 4 out of 5.

This bidet is decent quality and very easy to install. It works with no problem and is cheap. I did not fit over the toilet base I had because it is wide in the back and this unit has no adjustments in the width direction. That is why I gave it 4 stars. You get what you pay for.

Great Product

This product is amazing. For a long time I was looking for something like this and I was thinking of getting a bidet from India. But guys, NO NEED. This works perfect. No hassle at all!!! Installs easily ( I installed it myself as my husband ws out for work) So you see, how easy it is!! Value for money. I am ordering two more for my other bathrooms too.

Also it was shipped a day before it was estimated to be shipped. I would definetly recommend this for other people too, who hate using paper.

Too good to bee true

A. corona from PA - 5 out of 5.

Now I want to install this device in every toilet I use.
It works perfect, it cleans well, easy to install, easy to use.
It is almost too good to be true.
I am a woman and my experience with both installing it myself without even reading any directions was very good.
I just needed white tape that is not included to make a tight fit so no water will leak. I also cut the white narrow plastic hose to my size, like 4 inches after I installed it and measured. Do not leave it too short. This was only so I did not have to see it or bump into it when cleaning the bathroom.
My husband now says he loves to sit in the toilet just to feel the fresh water and feel refreshed even when he does not need to go.

Greatest Thing in the World...Bidet-wise...

B. Gensel from Valparaiso, IN - 5 out of 5.

After watching the Zack Galifianakis "bidet" sketch on SNL, I was thinking that having a bidet would be really cool. (no pun intended) On a lark, I went to Amazon and found the MB110. The 100+ positive reviews (and almost 0 negative reviews) cinched it and I bought it. Got it in 3 days and hooked it right up. Coolest thing in the world. More than just a gadget, it is now a necessity. I'm planning on equipping my other bathrooms with it as well. Amazing. Buy it. It's a gamechanger like TIVO.

No need to pre-wipe

Dennis T. Wysocki from Holbrook, NY United States - 5 out of 5.

Maybe it's all the exercise I've been doing but let's just say I've been burning my meals quickly and using a lot of toilet paper in the process. Things came to a head when my rear got so sore from wiping one day that it was uncomfortable to sit.

So I bought this item because of the good ratings and the claims that people were able to eliminate toilet paper.

I'm rating this 5 stars because:
1- Installation was very easy. Except for the teflon tape, this product included everything needed to install.
2- There is no funky colors on the item. It doesn't make the bowl look weird with colors that draw attention to or offset a white bowl. Other products had colors that seemed a little "louder" to me.
3- The dial for water pressure is easy to turn and responsive.
4- While the base goes under the seat, it doesn't make the seat unlevel.
5- The water sprayer is well out of harms way (from nastiness), is angled properly to spray what it needs to, and retracts when the water is off to help keep it clean. I've been using it two weeks and it has not gotten dirty.
6- It works! I have it down to a science such that all I need is two sheets of Charmin to wipe the water off my butt after I'm done.

If I had rated this a week ago I would have likely gave it 3 stars. I didn't have my routine down and I felt I needed to pre-wipe first, turn on the bidet, and then wipe again. I was not getting the results. I wasn't as clean as I thought I should be. I finally modified my routine to turn it on immediately after I was done, turn the knob to low, shimmy around a little, and wipe with two sheets of Charmin. The results are fantastic.

The negatives I see with the product (although not enough to lower the rating) are:
1- I use the low setting. Any higher and I will either have a colonic or will launch up. Anything higher than the low setting seems like a pressure washer. You want to make sure you don't turn it too much or forget which way is off.
2- I leave the toilet cover down when I'm done. Makes the bathroom seem more personal and less like public toilets. That said, if for some reason the water were to accidently turn on, the cover would deflect most of it. If the cover is not closed and the bidet is turned on by accident, either the ceiling or the wall might get wet. That's something to consider if you have kids. They might enjoy it and can easily turn it on and wet the bathroom.
3- Leaves your butt wet afterwards. While I wipe down afterwards, sometimes the dampness can trick you into thinking that you might not have cleaned enough. I obsess about that until the feeling goes away or I'm distracted.
4- Since the water feeds off the same supply that goes into the tank, the water that comes out will only be as warm as your normal cold water supply. I live in an apartment tower so my cold water is not so cold. If your cold water gets real cold in the winter, you may be dreading using the bidet during those months.

Excellent!

John B. Goode from Earth - 5 out of 5.

Works great! Bidets are common in Europe but almost unknown here. Fires a jet of cold (room temp) water at your anus for a wet clean after #2. Even though warm water might feel better, I think cold water does a better job because it puckers up the sphincter, it's like it cleans and closes the door tight afterwards.

The only thing I dislike about it is that for guys it makes your balls wet, especially if you have large testicles which hang low. You just can't avoid water splatter and you have to use up more TP to dry your testicles, and it's worse if you have hairy testicles. And if you don't dry them, you end up having a damp spot and wet dog smell.

But I digress, it does a good job and what it's supposed to do. Best of it, it's inexpensive and easy to install. Go for it, I say, for those who want the bidet experience.

A must have for any bathroom, I have been using different bottles to wash myself after using toilet but that has always been a cumbersome, this bidet has made life a bit easier, it gives a good narrow stream straight at the spot, installation is not difficult, if you have the tools takes 30 minutes, everybody in my house loves it, my 6 yr old calls it the toilet genie

Pretty good deal!

Y. Hawkes from Santa Cruz, CA, US - 5 out of 5.

I thought I'd wait a month before writing a review on this product. I was looking for a bidet for my mother & wanted to get her feedback.
Reading the previous customers reviews were very informative and helpful in my making the decision to purchase. First of all, it arrived quickly. The install was easy & straightforward. I definitely needed the water line that came with the bidet because my old one leaked...so I was appreciative that the company sent one. The water pressure is amazingly strong (My mother's electric bidet warms the water but the pressure doesnt go up very much) She (My mother) likes the dial, so its easy to control the water pressure. Cant say much more than its a great product for the price, and if you dont have a bidet for health reasons you definitely should purchase one to save our environment. You burn less energy in recycling the paper and less of it gets into our oceans. Europe and Japan have been using bidets for years...why cant we!!!?

GREAT ITEM

Ron C. Weber from Tucson, AZ, USA - 5 out of 5.

How did we ever live without this thing? We love it. Bought it two weeks ago. Took only about 15 minutes to install. Works great. We do not mind the cool water at all, but then here in Arizona it is probably not goin to get real cold anyway. Tap water is lukewarm most of the time anyway LOL. Will order one for the guest bathroom this week.

Outstanding

I was a little hesitant about buying this item. I had bought a less expensive brand before (Bidanit) but it broke. I didn't mind spending a little more money if the product was better, but sometimes its hard to tell just looking at pictures. I'm totally satisfied with this product. It's a better design, better built, and way easier to install. I wish I had bought this the first time...

Completely pleased!

rogerswalnuts - 5 out of 5.

I bought this to be environmentally friendly after reading about how bad cushy toilet paper is for the environment (they make it from virgin wood!), but I am not sacrificing anything for my green choice! It is more comfortable, more hygienic, and generally a better way to get the job done. It was amazingly easy to install. Even the hubby (who wasn't really stoked about my latest green project) had to admit it is pretty great. The 3 year old can't use it yet without freaking herself out and wrecking the bathroom, but we have reduced our waste dramatically enough anyway. The 6 year old got used to it really fast.

Also great for a laugh when guests' curiosity gets the best of them. If they are not actually trying it out, (ie- they are standing up but bending over the bowl to see how it works) they get sprayed right in the chest and have to do the walk of shame when they come downstairs. If they do try it out for real, there is an unmistakable YELP from the upstairs bathroom. No matter how ready you are, it is a little surprising the first time!

Great product

Jose F. Rodriguez from Miami, Florida USA - 5 out of 5.

Often you hear of products that promise a lot and deliver on nothing, this is not one of them. In my opinion this is the best option for someone that wants the Bidet feature. The installation was very easy and took 10 to 15 minutes with basic hand tools.

The product is attractive once installed I wish they would have included a way to cover the "Sliding Seat/Hook Coupling" since it sticks out the back of the seat a bit and might become a nuisance to keep clean. I don't think it's enough to remove a star for.

All in all a great product that works as very well.

Never been so clean.

S. Whitfield - 5 out of 5.

This product is very refreshing. You never know clean until you use it. It is amazing. It really does get you a lot cleaner, and saves on toilet paper. Before I got this product, and after using enough toilet paper to clog the drain, my wife would often complain that my "butt stinks", especially by the next day before I took my shower (She does have a sensitive nose due to being pregnant, maybe that is the problem, I would tell myself.) Not any more, she never complains. If you don't have one, get one. I can't remember life without one.

I love it so much that if she is using the shower in the bathroom with the bidet, and I have to go #2, I will wait rather than use one of the other toilets without one. Don't worry about it not having hot water, it does not bother my wife or myself. I can't believe we are so far behind the socialist Europeans, even third world countries are using them. My guess is that most Americans have never thought of it. Maybe the toilet paper companies are responsible. Here Mr. developer/homebuilder is a check for $100,000. We would appreciate it if you would not install any bidets in your homes. A little far fetched? Probably, but who knows.

Oh, as has been mentioned, I would treat the low setting as high. You can hit the wall with enough force on high (assuming that you are not sitting on the toilet) to splash water everywhere and probably shoot a hole through the wallpaper and sheetrock. By the way, don't try this while your wife is at home. Trust me on this one.

What an amazing product! If you get one of these bidets, you'll wonder how you lived without it. Rarely can one significantly improve the quality of one's life every day, for a one-time investment of under $60. This is one of those rare occasions! It's quite easy to install too. I can't recommend the Luxe Bidet MB110 highly enough.

low cost rinse

S. Lbck - 5 out of 5.

Five years ago I purchased a $300 Hometech bidet, which continues to provide my family with consistently excellent service. Recently, I purchased the Luxe Bidet MB110 for use in a second bathroom.

While I enjoy the warmed water produced by the Hometech, I consider the Luxe a better value. Here's why:

PROS:
-cleans very efficiently
-the force of its water stream is nicely adjustable (can be made stronger than the Hometech)
-low cost (i.e. 1/6th the cost of the Hometech)
-easily installed
-simple design results in low maintenance

CONS:
-squirts room-temperature water (compared to the Hometech's heated water)

Fresh and clean

RDH from Central CT - 5 out of 5.

Product works as advertised. Easy to connect to a standard toilet (all parts provided). Spray hits the target gently or with force according to how far you rotate the dial. Use toilet paper or a towel to pat your underside dry and you are done. Fast, easy, no chafing and probably better for the environment. Much better than the primitive dry wipe.

The pinnacle of civilization

A. Benenson - 4 out of 5.

Think about it - when other parts of our bodies get dirty, we don't rub ourselves with paper, we use water. This thing just makes sense!

Ever since I found out about the Toto washlet and its ilk, I'd been interested in something like this, and I even have vague memories of my grandparents having something like a washlet almost 40 years ago (I remember that it was pink plastic, and could squirt warm water and had a fan). However, the high prices and the complicated installation kept me away.

But once I found this product on Amazon with this great price and reviews, I went ahead and ordered two without hesitation.

Installation was easy; the only hiccup I ran into was that I had to replace the old bolts that attached one of my toilet seats because they were shorter than normal.

As for how it works, it's great! The aim of the water stream is "on target", the low water temperature is refreshing, and I only need to use a little TP to pat dry.

The only reason I didn't give this thing 5 stars is because I feel like it could be a bit smaller and even simpler - important for something that might be in your guest bathroom, capable of intimidating less adventurous visitors!

First, the part with the water pressure knob is huge, considering that all that's in there is a basic valve like in any faucet. Second, there are sliding plastic pieces in back to accommodate different spacing between toilet seat bolts, but in my experience all toilets are the same in that regard. Those extra pieces look a little ugly, and make it a little trickier to properly center the spray head when installing. Anyway, these are minor issues, but if they were fixed they would improve an already great product.

My only other comment is that the amount of spray force this thing can put out is a lot more than you'll ever need (unless your home has extremely low water pressure). I only have to turn the knob a very small amount for normal use; if I turn it all the way up it easily hits the wall on the other side of the bathroom! If you have kids, they'll probably get a kick out of playing with this, but you won't enjoy mopping up after them.

Wow, this thing is great. No more blowing money on toilet paper & wet wipes, or wasting toilet paper! Can't believe how clean it gets me (usually lean a bit forward/backward or to side while spraying). To finish, I just spray water/soap mixture on a cloth wipe to dry off and it is always clean.

Good Quality Budget Bidet

Steven Elfant from Boston, MA - 4 out of 5.

If you are on a tight budget and are looking for a bidet: THIS IS IT.

Pros:

1.) Strong Spray
2.) Easy installation (if you know your way around plumbing. Otherwise, get a plumber.
3.) Cleans Well (but it takes 30-40 seconds to do so, and some spray adjustment.
4.) Inexpensive

Cons:

1.) The warm water does not turn on right away. It warms up only after 15-20 seconds of running cold water. So, for the first 15-20 seconds after you turn the bidet (each time), you have to wait 15-20 seconds, as the cold water is very uncomfortable.
2.) There is a learning curve
3.) You still need a piece of toilet paper to wipe the water off.

Why did I wait so long

David Muskera from Huntington, WV United States - 5 out of 5.

This is a truly wonderful product. Inexpensive, sturdy, very easy to install and does just what it's designed for. However, make sure you fully re-tighten the existing toilet seat during installation. Warning: the water stream from this bidet is very strong and only a small turn of the dial is needed for effective use. I can only imagine what would happen if you turned the dial all the way up! Yikes....you might think you had sat down on an ejection seat(smile).

I was a bit concerned about it being cold water only...but most piping systems naturally allow cold water to warm a bit to an acceptable degree, at least at the beginning of water flow if the system has not been used for a while. My main bathroom (where this one is installed) is on the second floor of my house. So for the first 30-45 secs of cold water flow, water temp. is cool but not cold. If you keep it on for more than a minute or so, colder water does come up - but even this (to me) is refreshing. There is a learning curse on this devise for those of us who have never used a bidet before. It does not eliminate the need for TP, but it does greatly reduce it (patting dry for example). You just have to learn how to use it most effectively for yourself. I have to say that it leaves you feeling much cleaner and more refreshed than TP alone. Its works well also for in between freshing up. When I redo the downstairs bath, I will be ordering another. I highly recommend this item and the quick shipping always had with Amazon.com.

I now understand why the six billion dollar/year toilet tissue industry does not want Americans to discover the wonders of a bidet. "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" is big business folks! Kills a lot of trees too.

Get one of these. I think your like it as much as I do. I'm even getting to the point that I miss it when away from home.

I love this thing

JaneSmith1967 from Seattle, WA United States - 5 out of 5.

This bidet is fantastic. I can't believe I've lived without it for so long! If you have skin tags or other issues with cleaning that area, you will love this item. It works much better than the wet wipes.

And for ladies, it works great for feminine hygiene as well.

I installed it myself very quickly and easily; the only tools needed were a big screwdriver for removing and replacing the seat on the toilet, and a crescent wrench (a small pipe wrench would be even better) for connecting the water line.

I chose this model because I wanted something simply constructed - fewer parts to break. I also didn't have hundreds of $ to spend. The water is cold, it's true, but I don't mind it. The water pressure is plenty strong enough to do the job; I barely have to turn the knob to get an adequate flow.

This is a great product.

Excellent Quality and Value (Luxe Bidet MB110 used with Caroma 989646W and Caroma 301032W)

stephen pyde from Tucson, AZ United States - 5 out of 5.

Had I known about this sooner I would have bought and installed it long before now. I installed the Luxe MB110 on a Caroma Caravelle One-Piece Dual-Flush Toilet (989646W) equipped with a Caroma Detachable Round Toilet Seat (301032W). I mounted the Luxe MB110 towards the rear of the bowl (about 80% to the rear of the adjustable mounting position). I mounted it more towards the rear based on how the device would appear after installation (other reviewers had commented that mounting the device more forward improved water-jet alignment but that the forward position either obstructed the toilet bowl or the device could not mount far enough forward for proper water-jet alignment). To my surprise and delight the water-jet alignment is perfect when sitting down in a natural and comfortable position. The telescoping water jet sits about 1/2" inside the rear edge of the toilet seat opening (barely noticeable and safely tucked away under the rear edge of the toilet seat). The Caroma detachable toilet seat provides a hinge cover that completely hides any portion of the Luxe that would otherwise be visible to the rear of the toilet seat hinges (the further towards the rear of the bowl the Luxe MB110 is mounted the more this would be visible without the Caroma hinge cover); the final installation looks very professional and expensive (although it's not expensive; only $68 on Amazon at the time I ordered).

Regarding some reviewers who commented they had to sit unnaturally far to the rear of the toilet seat for the bidet to work properly; I suspect they had "elongated" toilet bowls since my Caroma instead has a "round" bowl and the Luxe works so well (even when mounting the Luxe MB110 towards the rear of my round toilet bowl). I highly recommend this product. I have been interested in a toilet seat bidet every since they started showing up 10 years ago (but their high cost; $400 - $2,000 caused me to delay making the purchase). After installing this simple and inexpensive device I doubt I will ever be compelled to buy a more expensive one (it works that well). So far I don't miss the "air dry" feature found on the more expensive units; I'm realizing now I have no interest in the additional sit time required for a blow-dry. Furthermore, I've discovered "toilet paper drying" has the advantage over "air drying" of confirming the bidet has completely done it's job; on occasion a quick second rinse and toilet paper dry is necessary to know for sure you're clean as a whistle! I estimate the Luxe MB 110 will reduce my toilet paper consumption by 90%. Warm water would be nice but I have no interest in running an electric outlet to the toilet area of my bathroom and so far cold water does not dampen my enthusiasm for regularly using this recent purchase. Similar inexpensive products that provide a connection to both hot and cold water would not work in my home given the amount of time it would take hot water to reach my bathroom. Do yourself a favor today and buy yourself a toilet-seat bidet (either this product or one of the expensive ones); you'll be glad you did.

Wonderful, MUST HAVE!!!

Aaron B. Wanless from Florida - 5 out of 5.

This is the new must have item of the year. We Americans are decades beyond Europe and even Thailand. My mother even says in Thailand that these faucets are the norm even when outhouses are in use. Why I lived without one for years is beyond me. Never walk around feeling not so fresh again! MY husband installed it in minutes and it was ready to go.

My husband loves it!

K. Rock from los angeles - 5 out of 5.

We've wanted a bidet for years, but didn't want to spend over $400 for one. We bought this based on reviews. I am so glad we did. My husband installed it in less than 10 minutes. My husband is a little obsessed with it. He invites people in to see it! Now we got the neighbors getting them. Ha! The wifes are all cracking up at our crazy husbands.

We highly recommend this product. We will be buying more so that every room has one.

Luxe Bidet MB110 - Outstanding Product!!!

GjB from Hawaii - 5 out of 5.

My wife and I have been living in Japan for 6 years were bathroom bidets are common. After we moved to Hawaii, my wife mentioned that missed having a bidet and she wanted to have one on our bathroom. I started researching on bidets and eventually found a few candidates for purchase from Amazon. I finally selected Luxe Bidet MB110 after reading so many positive reviews of this product. I ordered this item and received it within 4 days of ordering and didn't even have to pay for shipping to Hawaii! It did not take more than 15 minutes to install as mentioned in all the reviews. I used a screw driver to install it to the toilet seat hardware and an adjustable wrench to tighten the water connections. Since my wife was used to the Japanese versions of the bidets, she was initially skeptical about an after market accessory that can be installed on an existing bathroom fixture. Within a day of using it, she changed her mind and specially likes the fact that water pressure can easily be controlled with this model. She has had a few friends asking were we got this after they have used our bathroom and told them were we got it. This product is maintenance free and has not leaked since installation (2 months). I highly recommend it to someone looking for a bidet that is simple to install and performs just like the expensive Japanese bidets but without the added expense. Highly recommended!!!

Luxe bidet MB 110

V. Dixit from Santa Clara CA - 5 out of 5.

I bought the MB 110 bidet online, it arrived on time and in good condition. It was easy to install. It took only 15 min. The product works fine. It has only been a month since I bought it, so far no issues. It could use better instructions though. It was not necessary to remove the entire inlet pipe since our toilet is a newer model.I realized that after I tried to take out the pipe.
My son wants to install them in all the bathrooms. Overall it is an excellent product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to give this a try.

Would order this product again!

Ad M from CA United States - 5 out of 5.

This is an amazing product. I first became a bidet fan while living and working abroad. I have come across several different styles but I have to admit- this one is my favorite.

I was a bit skeptical about the installation- even after reading the different reviews here on Amazon. My last attempt at installing a handheld bidet was quite disastrous and resulted in a flooded bathroom! However, convinced that some 87 individuals who had previously installed the contraption couldn't be wrong- I decided to give it a go. I have to admit, installation went really smooth and without any hitches. The parts are all included and fit just perfectly. A very easy installation-he most difficult part of installation was trying to keep my curious cat out of the way! As for the product, I love the two water pressure settings. The design fits the toilet and seat just perfectly (thanks to the easy adjustment). I am now considering ordering another unit as a gift.

Practical, Functional, Affordable

Adam T. Mcabee from Carlsbad, CA USA - 5 out of 5.

I was going to purchase a more expensive wall-mount unit, but Amazon's notes indicated that many people ultimately ended up purchasing this model. I'm glad I did. It was easy to install - took about 10 minutes - and I'm no handyman. My wife chastised me at first for buying a bidet - until she tried it, and she has even "confessed" to me that she was glad we bought it (particularly given its relative affordability). The water flow is strong and accurate with no adjusting, and there is virtually no cleaning required (beyond normal toilet cleaning). In summary - my home has 5 toilets, and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up buying one for each at some point!

Works great, water can be a little cold

Arthur Bradley from Eastern USA - 5 out of 5.

The bidet works great. We had a few questions when we were considering the purchase that weren't directly answered by other reviews. I'll try to provide those answers. First, we wondered how the unit mounted. We discovered that it mounts to the toilet seat, not the toilet tank. Thankfully, this is now very clear with the new photos provided in the product description. Of course this type of mounting makes perfect sense, since almost all toilet seats have the same hole spacing. The bidet bracket also allows for a few inches of adjustment in case the holes don't line up perfectly with your toilet.

The next thing to know is that the box unit on the side of the toilet does not contain a water reservoir. It simply houses the water switch. The water comes directly from the wall, through the switch, to the sprayer. That's fine, except that the water can be rather cold. My youngest son refuses to use it because of the cold. Personally, I don't find it bad at all.

The sprayer can really blast you if you turn the switch too far. For safety reasons, we ended up turning down our water inlet valve (behind the toilet), and that solved the pressure problem.

Overall, the MB110 is a great unit. But keep an eye on the price. I noticed that recently it went up by twenty dollars (to $89). You should be able to get it for under $70.

Please be kind enough to indicate if reviews are helpful.

bidet, non-electric

J. Demarinis - 4 out of 5.

Bidet quickly and easily mounted on toilet. To be effective Bidet must be slid all the way forward. I found it necessary to make minor adjustments to center the unit so as to hit the right spot! Highly recommend a teflon plumbers paste be used instead of teflon plumers tape.

One of the best kept hygiene secrets

A reader from San Diego, CA - 5 out of 5.

Ever since I traveled overseas and was forced to use one of these I've been a big fan. Kind of a weird thing to get so excited about, but when you use one and your itchiness disappears, it's a pretty big thing.

I've always said if I could build my own home I would get one of the luxury, seriously expensive kinds. I can't afford to do that prersently, and the Toto ones I thought were overpriced for what they did. So here comes along a ridiculously affordable bidet with great reviews so I had to try it. It's a great product like everyone else here says, and even my wife who was reluctant to try something so different admits she thinks it's great.

Like someone once said, if you have dirt/mud on your driveway, what's the best way to clean it, with paper or water? Same thing goes for your bum.

Oh yeah, it's also a big savings for your wallet (less wasted paper) and better for the environment. I know others still use toilet paper, but you can just use a towel for drying your skin.

Cleaner than clean

Robert J. Olson from Grand Blanc, MI - 5 out of 5.

This little Bidet is a gem and like some of the reviews mention they would go for the Bidet with the means of warming the water would be nice but who is going to sit over the toilet for that long and way so the fresh water actually feels rather good. We purchased this Bidet because we wee tired of paying the cost of back-up work and all their claims to fame and really none of them work well but the Luxe Bidet does and our consumption of toilet paper has been reduced by 2/3 so do the calculations and you will fine that this little GEM payes for itself in about 6 to 9 months.

Re Luxe Bidet MB110

sande - 5 out of 5.

I've wanted a bidet for many years for hygiene and personal comfort. They just seemed too expensive. Recently I decided to get something and thought it would be a modified toilet seat with something that heated the water. I read the reviews of this product in an effort to be thorough in my search, thinking there was no way I would like it. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive so I got one to try. We are now enthusiastic converts. Here is why this is a fantastic product:
1. incredibly inexpensive relative to the options out there, works very well, and seems to be very well designed and sturdy;
2. hooks up to the cold water line (It took my husband more than the 15 minutes it has taken others, probably because he had to get to the line from an awkward angle, but not too much longer. He refers to it as the ice water dispenser, smart alek that he is, as we get our water from a deep artesian well and it is cold. But the water has been in the pipes for awhile except when several people use the toilet one right after the other, so it is really room temperature when it sprays you, and it doesn't take much water to get clean, just a quick spray. It's cool even so, but as it turns out this isn't a problem; if anything, it is refreshing.);
3. there is no need for an electrical connection, it relies on water pressure in the line, and there is no need to hook up to your hot water line which is likely to be remote from the toilet, and that water is unlikely to actually be hot as it takes a bit for hot water to make it through the piping in the house in most houses;
4. you are clean and feel clean after using it and it cuts down on the amount of toilet paper needed as all you have to do is dry yourself;
5. you can control the pressure with knob for your comfort and needs, and you can control the location of the spray when you hook the unit up (women will want it farther forward, and you will find you don't need a front sprayer to get clean if this is adjusted properly).
We thought enough of this product that we have purchased two more for the other toilets in our home -- a great bargain...

H2Go Bidet should be in every home

T. Sullivan from California - 5 out of 5.

My wife has lower back problems and finds it difficult to impossible to wipe that area. We were talking about what products we needed to research to aid in that task. I buy a lot of online products so I did some research and found the Luxe Bidet MB110 Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment. I liked the great reviews that it got and I purchased one. I was impressed with how easy it was to attach and use. My wife no longer has a problem with cleaning her private area. I like the directionality of the spray and the clean feeling it leaves. We will definately refer the Bidet to our friends and family. Overall this is a great product that performs well.

Great product

Carola Marquez from USA - 5 out of 5.

For months I have been trying to find a product similar to a toilet seat I have seen and used in some hotels in Asia. Finally my sister pointed me in the right direction. She had purchsed this product and liked it so much, she decided to get an additionl full seat bidet. I tried it at her house and felt really comfortble with it. At first I had my doubts about how easily it would be to connect, because our water connection had a metal pipe. However, once we turned off the water valve it was very easy to change the pipe and install the whole system. The package included everything we needed, expect the tools of course, and in less thn 30 minutes it was installed. We have high water pressure in our home so I hardly ever go beyond the first mark. I am also very please that even during winter the cold water does not feel uncomfortble at all.

Excellent product, fits the bill, excellent value

Bruce F. Mackenzie - 5 out of 5.

Bought this item though Amazon, a little skeptical w/ the low price. Received it promptly, installed very easily (less than 15 minutes). Product does a superb job. Water is a little cold right now in PA's winter, so consider going for the cold/hot model. But it works for me perfectly, end up using very little TP and always clean afterwards. Nice product.

You gotta get one or two!

Paula Kelly - 5 out of 5.

In America a bidet is a riddle. None of our friends knew exactly how to use one. We didn't even know you could buy a bidet attachment for our toilet. After a friend told us that bidet attachments were available, we searched the internet and found the Luxe Bidet Model MB110. The price was right, the shipping charges were fair, the promise of delivery was quick so we ordered it. Some purchases we decide to make are good investments. This purchase was terrific--one of our best choices. We received the bidet attachment in less than a week, installed it the same day, and have been using it ever since. It solved a lot of problems inherent in south of the border hygiene. Toilet paper use has been cut to 1/4th. Words do not exist to praise the usefulness of this product enough. We thank you so much 2Go Products for this. Now if only you could invent a portable model we can use when traveling . . .

Excellent product. Will Recommend.

Vinayak Mahajan from Manalapan, NJ United States - 5 out of 5.

I wanted to try something like this for a long time and finally decided to give this product a shot. The seller is excellent & the product arrived in two days.

It was an easy installation that took about 20 minutes. You don't even need to see any instructions, it is just self explanatory. There were no leaks on my first try.

The bidet has a simple design and only two moving parts, one of which is the valve. The other moving part is the bidet head which is retracted in the white pipe projecting downwards into the toilet. This head only pops downward when the valve is turned on and so is kept clean & pristine in its protective white pipe sheath.

The manufacturer has used a premium grade of tough engineering plastic for both the seat attachment as well as the white plastic hose that leads from the "T" to the bidet valve. You may want to clean the toilet so it is fresh before beginning the installation.

I have used it for several weeks and can not say enough for it. Here is a list of advantages that come to mind.

1) Financial/GREEN: I was always a heavy toilet paper user and now just use one sheet to blot off the water. The bidet will pay for itself in a few years.

2) Cleanliness: If you had some mud on your driveway, would you run to get some newspapers to smear it off or would you just pick up your garden hose and wash it off? The bidet is remarkably effective and you come away spotlessly clean. It takes a week or so to learn the best techniques, e.g., slight tilt sideways, back & forth, etc.

3) Cold vs Warm water: No need to get the Hot & Cold model. This works superbly well.

4) Speed: Cleaning up only takes a few seconds without even standing up and is much faster than toilet paper. So you save time when you are rushed in the morning.

5) Mechanical Simplicity & Ruggedness: The design of this bidet is very straightforward so that the chance of a mechanical malfunction is very low. It was made of premium engineering plastics so corrosion is impossible and breakage is unlikely.

Works incredibly well-Incredible Price

TP from New Jersey, USA - 5 out of 5.

This is one of those intimate areas of discussion.

That being said, sometimes not everything came out well and I would spend a lot of time wiping, more paper-more wiping. Most of the time I resorted to wet wipes, dampened toilet paper, maybe a wash cloth. The only time I felt really clean down there was if I immediately got into the shower. I considered one of those expensive bidet/toilets but there was too much hot water plumbing and/or electrical connections. I saw the MB110 on Amazon a few weeks ago and installed it in a matter of minutes. I had to replace the toilet seat with a Kohler seat as the bolts on the seat screwed down tighter (see the word of caution below.) This thing is remarkable! In moments the stream of water washes everything away. Yes, it exactly hits the right spot. Yes, the stream is adjustable from comfortable to almost stinging. No, the cold water doesn't bother me at all. This thing is great and it allows me the peace of mind leaving the bathroom clean. It's going to save a lot on toilet paper too! For the price and functionality, this thing cannot be beat!

[a word of caution here: since this product attaches under the toilet seat between the seat and the toilet, using the same bolts that go into the two holes in the toilet - some toilet seat attachments are better than others. The seat I had had two bolts permanently attached to the seat and there were were two plastic nuts that tightened under the rim of the toilet. This was not good because it was very difficult to get those plastic nuts to tighten down and firmly hold the seat and the bidet in place. The Kohler seat uses metal bolts that screw into two plastic nuts. Using a screw driver I was able to tighten the whole thing down. Now the bidet and the seat are held down tight and there's no movement when I sit down.]

A Product That Delivers

Firas Jawhari from Alexandria, VA, USA - 5 out of 5.

This product is exactly as it's described. It is a highly recommended personal hygienic tool that provides the main source for cleaning anything, water. Since we used this product at home, we feel much more comfortable and we recommend it to everyone. The product is simple to install, takes about 15 minutes, and very comfortable to use. In short... Great product.

Budget Bidet

Thor from Orange County - 4 out of 5.

This is a budget washlet that is easy to install and delivers water basically on target. A good product for those who either (1) want a basic washlet or (2) are interested in perhaps joining the washlet society.

INSTALLATION: The installation was easy--basically R & R the toilet seat and replace the supply line with the easy to follow instructions and kit provided. The replacement valve provided was 3/8 so I had to make a trip to the hardware store for a 1/2 valve.

PERFORMANCE: At this price, the washlet wand doesn't extend like the more expensive models, so the cleaning angle isn't quite as effective--more of an obtuse angle as opposed to a right angle (look it up). Thus, the more expensive models (several hundred dollars and up) have superior ergonomics allowing for a more precise cleaning.

Why didn't I know about this sooner.

dmc from Minnesota - 5 out of 5.

I love this product. Wish I had known of it decades ago. It does everything I was hoping it would and more. Installation was easily done by me in 20 minutes (a female in mid 70's) so anyone can do it. Doesn't take up much room, no water leaks and looks neat and clean in the bathroom. All three of the above issues concerned me before I got it. But the main thing I wanted was better hygiene and you do get that with this bidet. Very simple to use. Makes toilet paper seem primitive and unclean.
If you have skin sensitivities, this machine is the answer. Much kinder and gentler than toilet paper on skin but especially on aging skin. I'm planning on putting one in the guest bath too as it not only does a good job it is attractive in the bathroom. Don't worry about using cold water only; it feels refreshing not shockingly cold.

This is the one!!!

La Boheme from San Diego - 5 out of 5.

I've traveled all over Europe and Asia and love the personal hygiene choices in those areas that we don't seem to understand here. I did a LOT of searching and even went to restaurants and places where I knew I could try some of the top of the line bidet type sprayers. I didn't like any of them. I finally decided to believe all the reviewers of this product. They were right! This is a great product, works perfectly, is easy to install, and does what it says it will do. What else could you ask for?

A necessary attachment !

Bobbie Navone from Chula Vista, CA. United States - 4 out of 5.

After viewing a friend's very expensive bidet and trying it out, I decided I must have one for myself. I did not want to pay a very expensive price however, so checked out the ones at Amazon and this one was definitely in my price range. I also read the reviews of other customers to see what they had to say as far as their satisfaction with this product. I have purchased one for every toilet in my house and I am definitely glad I did. It is pretty much a basic product but it suits my needs perfectly. I did have to hire a plumber to install as I would never trust my expertise as far as installing anything into a water line. I wanted to make sure there would be no leaks.

Every toilet in America should have it ALREADY on it!

C. Newell from Arizona - 5 out of 5.

I feel weird leaving a review for such a personal item, but I've have this for a month now and I love it! I can't believe I've gone my whole life not having one. What was I thinking? I've been thinking about getting an attachable bidet for months now. If you're hesistating or thinking about it, just do it. You certainly won't regret it and it's well worth the money. For all the reasons already mentioned, you'll never feel cleaner or more refreshed.

Wonderful Product!

Rick Powell from Switzerland, FL - 5 out of 5.

I recently installed a Luxe MB110 bidet, and now I have become totally spoiled on bidets! I can't believe I have managed without one for decades. Indeed, using toilet paper now seems rather barbaric (and unsanitary!) to me. I guess we could all learn a thing or two from the Europeans. The MB110 is easy to install, adjustable, and not very expensive. My only minor complaint is that the toilet seat rises about 1/8" in the back, where the bidet is mounted, and thus the seat does not rest squarely on top of the toilet bowl rim. However, this is probably unavoidable without using thinner plastic for the mounting brackets, which is not a good idea. That being said, this minor issue is far outweighed by the benefits of the bidet.

Many Surprising Advantages of Bidet

T. Anthony from New York - 5 out of 5.

I had seen bidets in many hotels in the world but had never even got near one because I assumed that they were some exotic instrument just for French women. So with my cultural hangup, I was the least likely person to buy this product.

Recently, a close relative unexpectedly sent me the URL to this product. I was surprised at the overwhelming 5 stars reviews so on a whim I ordered one.

It was an easy installation (e.g. see my customer pictures) that took about 20 minutes. One shortcut is to not use the metal braided hose that they send to you but just keep your metal hose attached to the wall shutoff valve and attach the other end of your hose to the "T" connection that comes with the bidet. All connections to the "T" are done by hand pressure alone.

To make a neat connection, I shortened the white hose that came with the bidet. That hose was so tough that it resisted a very sharp razor knife. I have no worries that this tube will ever break. My toilet is surrounded by walls on three sides so I had to get uncomfortably close to the front of the toilet to do the installation. Therefore, you may want to clean the toilet so it is fresh before beginning the installation. If you can access the valve side of the toilet, then you will not have to get so close.

I have used it for several weeks and can not say enough for it. Here is a list of advantages that come to mind.

1) Financial: I was always a heavy toilet paper user and now just use one sheet to blot off the water. The saving in toilet paper per year will be about $31 so the bidet is giving you a tax-free return of 43%. Compare that to the current yield of money market funds of 0.01%.

3) Cold vs Warm water: This bidet hooks up to your cold water outlet on the wall. You could run a longer flexible hose to a hot water connection if your sink was adjacent to the toilet. However, you will find that the water in the water pipe leading to the toilet has sat there for some time and has come up to room temperature. So there is no need for a hot water connection.

Best Bidet for the price

Steve Park - 5 out of 5.

This is totally worth the money. If you dont care about all the fancy options a bidet can have, this is the bidet to buy. I was a little skeptical since it was so affordable and they always say that you get what you pay for, but this is not the case. This actually does what it is suppose to do. Initally I was looking at the electrical bidets, but then you have to think about running an extension cord as well as it cost of $300 or more. We like this bidet so much, that we are planning on buying our parents this as a gift for Christmas.

Solved a problem!

Susan Clinton from rochester, ny - 5 out of 5.

I had shoulder surgery, could not use my arm, and was concerned about not being able to "stay clean" during my 4-6 week recovery. I ordered this bidet and my husband quickly and easily installed it. It works GREAT!! Gives me a sense of security and now everyone in the house loves it!! It will stay in use well after recovery. Saves money on TP too!

Best invention since...toilet paper?

Electro-Kid - 5 out of 5.

That may be an exaggeration, but this easy-to-install high-quality product does what it is designed to do and does it very well. Aside from the functionality, it just feels good when the water from this Luxe Bidet MB110 hits the targeted area. That's because certain areas of the body are connected to and interwoven with millions of delicately sensitive nerve endings.

It's easy to control the water flow, which is a good thing, otherwise water will splash all over the underside of the toilet seat, including the user, who might not appreciate such a "Titanic" moment. A light touch on the control knob is recommended.

This unit is adjustable, but it would be impractical to loosen the toilet seat to accommodate various body types. I have the sprayer set at about the halfway point as a compromise. If the water doesn't hit the target, I tell my guests to lean forward slightly, which works for me, or to use their own judgment.

I highly recommend this product.

Very Good Bidet

J. Saad from Bridgewater, NJ United States - 4 out of 5.

I love this Bidet. The water pressure could get too strong if you go beyond the LOW gauge, but overall it's a clean, easy to install bidet that does what it's supposed to do.
I only wish it had some sort of a kid safety lock because if my three year old finds out about this thing, it will very quickly become his favorite toy.

What I've wished for

Elayne B. Clark from Salt Lake City - 5 out of 5.

I love Luxe Bidet MB110. I wish I'd had it years ago. It has made an big difference in my physical and mental comfort. This water spray not only cleanses perfectly, but also helps a sluggish bowel to evacuate more easily. I am very thankful and completely satisfied with this wonderful new toilet seat attachment. Thank you! Thank you!

The Luxe Bidet is fabulous

katydids from florida - 5 out of 5.

I had been interested in bidets after seeing them in Europe many years ago. I was thinking of getting a new toilet so, in the course of my shopping, I came across bidets but they were so expensive. I found the Luxe Bidet on Amazon and compared it with many others. The reviews were so fabulous and the fact that I could install myself and that it required no electricity, were big selling points.

It has outshone my highest expectations. It was very easy to install, is very good looking, and best of all, simple to use.

I don't normally write recommendations but this product is over the top!!

It's a wonderful thing!

Luxe Bidet MB110 Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment

I have been using this bidet for two months now, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. Being a clean freak, it fulfilled all my expectations and then some. I was so happy with it that I ordered one for my sister who has physical limitations which prevent her from achieving proper cleansing, i.e., she cannot reach that area and has had to depend upon someone else to do that for her. As a result of having this wonderful product she has been able to perform this very personal task without the assistance of others. Consequently, she has regained her sense of independence and, most importantly, her dignity. On behalf of her, and myself, I thank you. Incidentally, I recommend it for anyone with arthritic limitations.

definitely worth the money

Terri from Phoenix, AZ - 5 out of 5.

Easy to install, easy to use, good aim, looks aren't too distracting, definitely well worth the price. Our first bidet and we have already ordered a second one and put this into the category of "how did we ever live without one?"

Excellent product

P. Beygo from Crofton, MD United States - 5 out of 5.

I bought this for my mother who grew up in Europe with a bidet in every bathroom. After 40 years she now has the same type of bidet here in the U.S. The unit is very easy to install and works extremely well. Even without a warm water hook-up the water temperature is comfortable. My mother is thrilled to have this hygienic option once again. I highly recommend it for ease of use and installation.

Squeaky clean and saves toilet paper

Glenn Watkins from Bristol, Pa USA - 5 out of 5.

I hate messing with plumbing and was a little scared this might cause leaks but it's very simple to install and not a single drip. The amount of pressure from the stream is unbelievable. I was wondering how cold water would feel (especially in the winter) but to tell the truth, it feels great - very refreshing. It takes a little time getting used to. You have to move your butt to make sure the stream reaches all the right spots. Also make sure you allow enough time for the water to clean thoroughly. (not just a couple seconds)

I use Charmin Ultra Soft and save a bundle since only a little is used for patting dry.

Much better than expected

Frank E. Butler from S. IL - 5 out of 5.

I have wanted to try a bidget for years, but the products I had seen were always for the whole seat and very expensive. Was glad when I came across the Bidget MB110. It's in a price range where its affordable to try.

Anyway installation is a snap. I bolted it to the stool using the 2nd hole nearest the tank. That was where mine needed to be (maybe any adjustment/bolt hole is right on)

I have used it for a month now, have cut way done on tp (need to dry off). That's good for the septic tank.

I worried our water pressure might be to low, but again no problem.
Yes I would get another one and recommended it to anyone thinking about
trying one. Maybe as a gift.

A product long overdue.

Reed R. Chase - 5 out of 5.

We have lived extensively overseas and became accustomed to the comfort, efficiency and sanitary procedure of using a bidet. The thought of installing a separate basin was overwhelming. The Luxe Bidet MB110 was a 20 minute simple installation. It comes with all of the parts needed and instructions for any installation. The usage is as good and even better than most of those we have used out of the country. Nobody should be intimidated by the installation and the ease of learning to use this bidet. This unit is durable. A big five stars for this company and engineers that have developed this product. There are health benefits that come from using a bidet.

Why are we so far behind Europe?

C. Herring from Eastern North Carolina - 5 out of 5.

My first two questions were,
1. are bidets a feminine thing and
2. will I feel less of a man if I use a bidet?
Problem: Prior to using the Luxe bidet,I had continuously returned to the bathroom from 8 to 10 times a day in an effort to feel clean.
Solution: After using the Luxe bidet, my next question was "what took me so long to discover the feeling of clean". I can not explain how much cleaner I feel. After installing and using the bidet the first time (installation was quick and easy, everything I needed was included in the package), I knew one would not be enough in my home. I ask my wife to try the bidet and see what she thought. After using the bidet only once, she told me she wanted one in the guest bathroom.
New problem: When leaving home for a trip, I cringe at the thought of using a toilet away from home. Our bidets (we now have two) have already cut the tissue use at least 80%. If you have not tried one yet, purchase, install and try one as soon as you possibly can. I can not speak of other brands or models, but the Luxe MB110 in my opinion is both easy to install and easy to use. If I could not replace the bidets we have, no ammount of money could buy mine.
Thank you Amazon for having the Luxe bidet available at such a reasonable price and thank you "2 go products" for a inexpensive product with such good quality and simplicity of operate.

The shipping was really fast, installation was so so simple! The price is well worth it. It is so simple and works so good I can't imagine not having one. I must say it (hits the target) HA! HA! This product has been recommened to all my family and friends, as a must have in their homes!!

Thanks Luxe Bidet and Amazon!

Great Product

Martin Willey from Bakersfield, CA - 5 out of 5.

This is a great product for the price. I agree with another reviewer that the old method seems nasty and primitive. This is a product that most of the United States is behind the rest of the world in adapting to. I wish I had bought one many years ago. No more medication, hemorrhoids, or paper burns. Only a small amount of paper to dry and I am good to go.

I would not waste money on one with heated water, as this one is great with the cold water. I bought a second one for my vacation home and I dread going anywhere without one.

This is no Toto washlet but it's good for the money

Robert Petkus from New York - 4 out of 5.

Like other reviewers, I spent some time in Japan where I was introduced to the "washlet". Like others, I too, was enamored with this wonderful hygienic device and began searching for one to install at home.

I priced out some washlets in a department store in Japan - mostly Panasonic and Toto that were priced between 45000-95000 yen (US $500-1000) and balked since the manual and controls were in Japanese (obviously).

Why did I buy this particular model?
- Price
- Good reviews on Amazon
- Didn't feel like installing another outlet next to the toilet

Verdict:
Pros:
- Well made
- Exceedingly simple to install (15 minutes)
- Cold water isn't as bad as it sounds
- High power and decent aim
- Can't beat the price

Cons:
- This is no way near as nice as a Toto. Assuming one were to forget about amenities like warm water, heated seat, and variable jet pulses and streams, the actual jet of water on the Luxe, while fairly precise, is not the surgical laser-beam employed by Toto.
- Unless the unit is moved forward on the toilet, one has to move back or lean forward in order to hit the desired target. But if the unit is moved forward it becomes obtrusive.
- The biggest issue is that the unit will raise the back of the toilet seat by a 1/2" or so which makes the toilet seat higher in the back and lower in the front - a sort of funny-car effect.
- Bear in mind, too, that your toilet seat better be affixed to the toilet using long screws to accommodate the added height of the bidet. As it was, my Kohler seat had screws which were too short (as will be the case with most toilet seats of the "snap-on" variety). I bought a Bemis non-snapon seat for this job which worked great.

So I'm giving this product 4 stars for price, quality, and ease of installation.

But for as long as I own this product, it will always be a temporary fix hashed together until the next housing bubble affords the purchase a *real* washlet.

Never got it installed!

John Gibson from San Antonio, Tx - 3 out of 5.

Ordered the MB110--received it in a timely manner--I needed to replace my old bidet of several years (bought while on a trip to Argentina where nearly all homes have one--but started to leak no matter how hard I trid to shut the value--the seal was going out & no replacement here in USA. I found that the adapters (and hose which came with the unit)was sized at 1/2" x 15/16". All toilets here are sized at 3/8 x 7/8" connections (water supply to toilet)I could not find any 15/16" connectors or adapters. In fact could not find supply line installation hoses with a 15/16" end connector. I read the reviews which were all favorable--and no one made mention of my problem. I called Amazon who could only recommend locating the company who made the product (not the dealer) to discuss the problem or send the item back. Which I did. I have no complaint about the product--just the hardware they sent to install it.

Odd Gift

C. Wilson from Oceanside, CA United States - 5 out of 5.

I bought this for my 89 year-old mother who lives with my sister and her family. At first it was thought of as an odd joke. My sister's 17 and 13 year-old children snickered. For weeks it sat in the box, and I wondered if I would have to eventually return it. After all, it would be installed in a shared bathroom with the kids and my mother. Finally, my sister's son installed it easily. The 13 year-old even commented, "Refreshing." My mother was also grateful for it's ease of use. It really is a help to her with limited mobility and range of motion and reach. If you want a truely unique gift, this is it.

Bottoms up! This is Grrreat!!!

Bruce Ethridge - 5 out of 5.

Bought one and liked it so much I bought another for a friend. Then bought two more, one for my second bathroom and one for my daughter's house. It isn't very often that you will find a product that is reasonably priced and works so well. This thing has actually improved my life. I had some minor hemorrhoid problems that just went away. I even threw away the chemical creams and wipes. (Well, those last two sentences prove I'm not shy or bashful.) My wife and daughter like it more than me. The supply line from the valve on the wall to this unit is in the package and is quality braided steel. You may not need this line but if you do it's nice to have. Easy to install and no leaks. I have installed these units on three different brands of toilets with four different seats. The two in my house are American Standard. My friend's was a Kohler. I believe my daughter's is a Glacier Bay. This bidet doesn't raise the seat more than about 1/4 inch. You won't even be able to tell it is installed. I mention this because another review said it raised the back of the seat. You will only need a screw driver and a pair of pliers. You might need a crescent wrench if the supply line is hard to get off. I didn't even use any plumber's tape and had no leaks on any of the installations. Just be careful to turn the unit on slowly so that you don't blow a butt gasket. With too high a pressure you will be giving yourself an enema, not just a cleansing. After a few days of getting use to this, I'm sure you will be just as impressed as me and most all the other reviewers. If you have any kind of lower end problems, this thing is a must. It definitely will keep you clean and fresh. This should be a doctor recommended item. Good packaging and quick delivery were added extras.

Totally satisfied. The bidet was delivered as expected; hose connector included; easy to install to existing toilet seat & plumbing; rotate knob to adjust water flow and as intended, hits the target. Wish I had found this sooner!

S. Patrick from Laveen, AZ - 5 out of 5.

Firstly, let me mention that I don't normally write product reviews. In fact, this will be the 5th review I have ever written. That being said, I simply couldn't "not" write a review about this fantastic product.
For years, I had been curious about bidets and washlets, just couldn't bring myself to spend roughly $600 for something there was no guarantee I'd use or like. The Luxe Bidet was the perfect compromise! At a cost of $68.95 and purchased through Amazon.com, I opted to test my luck. If it says anything about this product, I installed the product yesterday and am already writing this review. In less than 24 hours, I've discovered that this product is that fantastic!
The Luxe Bidet took approximately 12 minutes to install. Two of those minutes were wasted because I had forgotten to grab the wrench from the garage prior to beginning the install. The instructions were very basic, almost to a fault. To someone who might be looking for very specific, detailed instructions, they'd be lost on single sided 8.5" by 11" sheet that came with this product. However, once you actually look at the product and understand it's function, installation is a no brainer. No leaks, no problems!
The first time I used the bidet, I'll admit I was a little nervous. Sitting there wondering what it would feel like once I turn that dial, the build up was much worse than the actual sensation. Turning the dial slowly, the water pressure began to increase to a comfortable level. Not exactly sure how much time was required to obtain cleanliness, I let it run for maybe 10 seconds as I shifting slightly to the left and right attempting to get complete coverage. Once I turned the dial off, I realized that I was now wet. Grabbing a small amount of toilet paper, I began do my "normal" thing ... I was spotless! I was sold!
I felt clean! I mean, I had always thought that I was clean before ... but this sensation was a genuine "clean" feeling. Why haven't these products caught on? Is it that people are too bashful to actually purchase them? Prior to purchasing the bidet, I learned how common these are in Europe and Asia. So are Americans that behind-on-the-times in believing that wiping your butt with dead trees is the peak of the pooping evolution? Who knows? I think that bidets and washlets should be more mainstream and not looked upon as being a "luxury". Thank you, Luxe, for finally creating an affordable product that anyone can use and be happy with. Not only do I feel more sanitary, but I expect to be saving some money not purchasing so much toilet paper ... in turn, assisting the environment too!
By the way, I have already ordered a second Luxe Bidet for my other bathroom!

Luxe Bidet MB 110 review

Hal E. Brown from Vancouver, WA. USA - 4 out of 5.

This product is easy to install without leaks. The gradually increasing flow valve gives you a great control over the amount of water and pressure. I would like the water flow to be a wider stream but the existing stream is adequate,

Why it took me so long to have one? Luxe Bidet MB-110

Bobby1st from DE USA - 5 out of 5.

I know what's a bidet is but never had one before. Only when we have toilet that's away (a distance) to the bathroom sink that I decided to look for one. There's a lot out there, some are fancy and expensive but the bottom line, they do the say thing, to clean the objective (you know what I am referring). I came across Luxe Bidet by 2Go Products and it caught my attention. The website is very informative and the price is very reasonable by comparison to other brand. The first to catch my attention was model MB-210, which came with hot and cold water control. Having a hot water during Winter time is very pleasant to have, however, after having the thought go through my head, I realized it can only be use for toilet near a sink. I don't see any problem boring a small hole through the side of a cabinet sink near the wall for a water line. But then I have to run the hot water faucet before I get hot water, that's clean water wasted down the drain.

Since I need it for toilet away from sink, I got the MB-110 with cold water control only. The item itself is made of smooth clean white plastic easy to clean and made in good quality material. The assembly only took me less than thirty minutes, no experience needed to get it done. It came with all parts needed to put it together. Use a Teflon tape for joining any metal to plastic tread connectors and no need for plastic to plastic.

To my surprise, it does not matter if it's just plain cold water because what you feel is the water pressure hitting you in a rather sensitive area. I can't tell much if it's ice water coming out. Be careful, turn the water knob slowly, it have a strong water pressure behind it. It sting and do not turn it on without a body to block it. At first I was worried that a pipe coming down at the back area below the toilet seat (see picture) will be dirtied but no it didn't. When you turn the water knob a little head comes down from that tube and squirt a jet of water. When cleaning the objective, what better way but to use water, dry toilet paper will not get it cleaned no matter what you think, unless you followed it with a wet wipe. How many sheets of toilet paper plus the wipe will do the job? How many multiple by number of user in the household will it cost a year? It might clog up your drain in the long run. With a bidet there's less toilet paper used, just for drying up (optional). The first bidet convinced me to get two more and I am not done yet. I have more bathrooms (two houses) to equip. I am very satisfied beyond belief and you will too. I highly recommend this product anytime. 2Go Product fast deliveries at each instance was delightful.

Excellent product & highly recommended

Happy Gimp from Maine USA - 5 out of 5.

This was a replacement and upgrade from a very basic model. This one works as described; easy to install and very easy to use. I especially like the way the water flow is maintained. For someone handicapped such as I, it leaves both hands for steadying and/or holding on.

Another nice feature is that it's a spray not a stream. Very refreshing and thorough.

To the manufacturer, the seller and Amazon.com : kudos for making this product available. Well done.

Bidet MB110 - Ahhh, fresh as a daisy!

SoBlessed - 5 out of 5.

Oh, how I love my new Bidet! I've wanted one for years (I love gadgets) and never realized that I could get one so affordably until I ran across the Bidet MB110 while doing an online search.

I love it! I liken it to a "car wash for your nether-regions." I originally thought I might like the dual nozzle kind (being a woman and all) but found that leaning slightly forward hits all areas. (I know the women reading this review want to know that). I also don't see the need to get one with the hot/cold feature as the basic model is quite comfortable. Start it on low just to be sure that the initial 'hit' isn't a zinger that evokes a "WHOA!!!!" by a cold water blast and before you know it -- it's comfortable, just like a swimming pool.

I didn't even need to use the metal hose provided which cut out a whole step during the install process. And yes, I did it myself -- my husband was so proud!

I certainly wouldn't hesistate to purchase this item, in fact just order one for every bathroom now and save shipping. You will anyway down the road, I promise you! I can't believe I went all these years without one!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wendy - 5 out of 5.

Due to issues of severe arthritis of the knees and morbid obesity, I have been unable to properly wipe myself after a bowel movement. I searched on-line for a bidet and money truly was not an issue...what mattered most to me was ease of installation and reliability. I took a chance on this Luxe Bidet MB 110 and I am sooo glad that I did. My teenage son installed it in less than 30 minutes. It has not leaked at all and is so easy to use. I would HIGHLY recommend this bidet if you are looking for a simple, no bells and whistles, no electric hookups, no dual nozzles or heated water type of bidet. Luxe Bidet simply connects to your toilet's water hose and is secured under any existing toilet seat. This is a great product!!!

As Good as the Reviews show

iamsam from USA - 5 out of 5.

I found this item to be exactly as the other reviewers found it....easy to install (only needed a wrench, and that was only because my toilet seat plastic bolts were Wa-a-a-ay too tight for me to hand loosen). Setup took about 15 minutes or less of hand-loosening and retightening one connection at the base of the toilet tank, and attaching and tightening a second connection (at the water pressure selection control know). Device looks and feels solid and nice, especially for a molded plastic, which I'm not usually a fan of. As I explained to a friend of mine who was somewhat hesitant, "No you can use it the 'normal' way if you want to, the knob has to be turned on to give you the option to use the bidet". (She later used it anyway, and is now awaiting delivery of the one she then ordered).

Great Product

Consumer 3000 - 5 out of 5.

I own three of these models, and I've had no problems with any of them.

Installation is very easy.

I've never had a leak.

I do not see the need for buying a bidet seat with a warm water feature as regular water is very comfortable.

Product works very well.

I highly recommend this product.

I would love to see different colors as well as stainless steel/chrome models offered in the future.

Works as advertised, easy install

W. Greely from Walpole, MA United States - 5 out of 5.

I just came back from Japan last week, where almost everywhere I went they had "Star Trek Toilets", i.e., toilets with soft-closing lids and controls on the side that cleaned your hoodle-doo with warm or cold water, with pulsating action, settings for men and women, and seat warmers. I didn't really care about anything but cleaning the 'ole hoodle-doo, and it was one of my first tasks coming back stateside to find one that would work on American toilets. Toto is the brand name over in Japan, and can be found in the U.S., but they are very expensive. I live in an apartment and don't have the electrical outlet next to the toilet to install one of those. THIS bidet, however, was just what I was looking for: simple to install, no electric required, one function only (to clean your hoodle-doo). I was worried that the aim would not be accurate ... it is. I was worried the pressure wouldn't be strong enough ... it is, and you can control it from a gentle spray to a stinging gush. It came in the mail today (it took 7 business days), and I just finished installing it. Installation was simple and took me about 20 minutes. Works perfectly. I was worried about the cool water, but it is refreshing. I couldn't believe my luck in finding this at such a low price. Grab it while it's on sale ... you won't regret it.

Works Great!

J. Lee from San Jose, CA - 5 out of 5.

I was using wet wipes for a few years after a friend told me how well they worked but over time, the cost of buying them added up quite a bit and I knew I definitely didn't want to go back to using regular toilet paper so I read the positive reviews for this product and thought I'd give it a try.

I had used a bidet before at my moms place and hers had all the bells and whistles such as the heated seat and warm water function but it was very expensive. Plus, I didn't want the hassle of running the electrical and all that stuff. All I wanted and needed is the basic function of a bidet without the high price tag.

I'm very glad I made this purchase. The bidet works great just as all the previous reviews have stated. Installation was quick and easy. If you're looking for a simple yet very functional bidet, look no further. You've found it!

Better than I thought

Kenneth E. Baker from Aurora, Ohio - 5 out of 5.

My wife has been using a Biffy for years and has been quite pleased with it. She wanted me to install one in my bathroom but I had been putting it off for some time. Then I became interested in the MB110 advertised in Amazon. It looked like a simpler unit and the reviews were great. So, I ordered it-- it arrived two days earlier than expected (with free shipping) and I was "sitting pretty" within a half hour of it's arrival. All I needed was a flat blade screwdriver to remove and reinstall the toilet seat. I didn't use a wrench or teflon tape because hand tightening the fittings was sufficient and nothing leaked. I used my existing flexible braided hose instead of the one provided. The only hint I can give is to adjust the mounting plate as far forward as you can go (the aim seems truer there).

P.S. It leaves less water residue than the Biffy.

Works very well!

Wilfredo M. Viray from Orange County, CA - 5 out of 5.

It is well made. I installed it in about 10 minutes. The instructions are very clear and it also comes with all the parts you need to install it. The plastic is solid and it has worked without issues for the past 6 months. A quality product and a winner in my book.

No more squeezing the Charmin

Mrs. Elaine M. Nola from Fort Worth, TX United States - 5 out of 5.

I purchased this bidet attachment because so many trees are destroyed in the making of toilet paper. I am so glad I did. This is WAY better than toilet paper. I am clean and fresh. I'll never go back. This bidet works. Don't be afraid that you won't get clean. You will.

This should be on all toilets

Drew Rosenberg from Philadelphia, PA USA - 5 out of 5.

I've traveled to many countries and in asia and parts of europe these types of bidets are very common. There's no better way to clean up than with a little water! It works great. Don't worry about there not being hot water, you don't even notice it. I wouldn't have even thought about having a hot water option if I didn't see other ones using that. And you don't need those $500 electronic seats, unless you have the $$ to spend and want to go all out. This works just as well.

You'll love this product. Guaranteed!

Jag Fan from Central Fl - 5 out of 5.

Just got it today Sat, 05/23 via USPS. Ordered Sun, 05/17 with budget shipping. Immediately I installed it, took me appox 15 mins. Easy and quick self installation. Easily attached to toilet seat. Drain tank first, detached hose and attached supplied hose, wa la done! What I like most is the pressure control, you have the choice of low, medium or high spray. Very nice and the self cleaning spray nozzle that hides when not in use, and best of all is hit the "target" without adjustment. Very hygienic and healthy way to clean. Very refreshing! My wife loves it! Highly recommended to your mothers, fathers and everybody. Guaranteed your Mother-in-law will love you after you gave this as a gift.

Everyone In My Home Loves It

Marius Lardizabal from Houston, TX USA - 5 out of 5.

I first experienced the joys of using a bidet at a friend's house. So ever since then I was looking for inexpensive but quality bidets locally as well as over the net.

Then I came across the H2Go Bidet MB 110.

I won't explain what a Bidet is, because if you are reading this review then you probably have an idea what they are. But I will tell you that this product is on exception of a Bidet.

My friend's bidet setup was crude. On one toilet it was hand held, you basically had to aim at the "sweet spot" to get cleaned. The other one only had an on and off.

But then the H2Go Bidet MB 110 had a knob which controlled the force of the water, very very very convenient.

Installation was a breeze, it took me 10 mins tops, for each toilet (we had two).

The only complaint I got was from my mother-in-law, no hot water, but it's not issue to us because we don't live in a cold place.

Awesome Product!

C. Rodriguez from Houston, Tx. - 5 out of 5.

This is my first bidet and I'm so happy with it I can't tell you! It was easily installed and has performed perfectly.

When I first installed it I think I put the nozzle too close to the rim because when the dial was turned on it only produced a fine mist. It was a quick fix though and it's my best purchase yet.

I've highly recommended it to my friends and family.

Ollie & Stanley Install a Bidet

A. Coughlin from Florida - 5 out of 5.

Ollie and Stanley Install a Bidet

"An easy 10 to 15 minute installation" read the online reviews. As usual, minutes turned into hours for this retired couple, mainly due to the overexuberant valve tightening of whatever mad-at-his-wife plumber installed the toilets in our new house. Installing an add-on bidet did not prove to be an easy matter. Not only did the locknuts for the valves seem hopelessly stuck, but the bolts for the toilet seat proved too short to be installed over the bidet fittings, sending me, Stanley, in search of suitable replacements. Naturally, all this time dear Ollie was hovering nearby, telling me the bidet job couldn't be done at all, appropriately sized bolts absolutely would not be found and, no, I couldn't drill slightly larger holes in the toilet seat mounting brackets to accommodate the long bolts that I did find.

Stanley's new motto: when in doubt, don't ask Ollie for help. There is a rule in plumbing called "lefty loosey, righty tighty," referring to the direction most plumbing locknuts must be turned in order to loosen or tighten them. So when I complained to Ollie that the locknuts on the water inlet valves seemed impossible to loosen, you can guess what happened. I would work on them for awhile, following the lefty loosey rule with my wrench. Then Ollie would come in and work on them for awhile, using his wrench in righty tighty fashion. As a result, we worked quite effectively against one another. All day long. Just when my back was about to give out from the twisted position I'd been forced to assume in a very cramped space, Ollie finally realized the error of his ways and tried turning his wrench in a counter clockwise direction. In other words, lefty loosey. With the locknuts finally loosened, I took over the rest of the installation job. The bidet parts went together smoothly, the new water inlet piping didn't leak a drop and the toilet seat went on just fine. All in less than ten minutes.

Oh, and the new bidet works great, thank you for asking. I'm just not sure I'll tell Ollie when I'm ready to install one on our other toilet.

Everyone should have one

Princeton Dave from New Jersey - 5 out of 5.

I just recieved this and installed it easily in 15 minutes. My main concern going in was the accuracy of the spray and just overall quality. Well I can't say longterm but this works perfectly. I am a bit "anal" when it comes to cleaning that area. I was a wet wipe fanatic until developing an alergy to whatever was in those things. Plus they are not good for the plumbing. This solved my problem. It is amazing how that stream hits just the right spot and is quite powerful if needed. I highly recommend this item. In fact I am ordering more for other toilets and my parents. I was also a little worried about not having the hot water attachment since my john is in a seperate room from the sink. It is not bad at all. Not too cold. Actually I think I like the cool feeling better than a real hot flow.

H2Go Bidet Model MB 110

K. Record from Tucson, AZ USA - 5 out of 5.

We had previously ordered and returned a much more expensive Hyundai bidet. It would not work properly with cold water only. If not careful with the valve, water sprayed out the hot water connection orfice and we did not want to connect hot water. The T fitting provided to tap the water line leaked unless a LOT of Teflon tape was used. It was also bulky and the handle touched the right leg when sitting.

We decided to order the H2GO MB 110 for less than half the price, not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. The unit is basic and functional. It is very unobtrusive when attached to the toilet. It is installed by removing the toilet seat and placing the unit over the 2 holes at the back of the toilet bowl and reinstalling the seat over the top of it. The attachment holes on the bidet have universal adjustability via sliding plates so it should fit most toilets. The water supply hose is attached by first sliding a plastic nut on the hose then pushing the hose tightly onto a nipple, then sliding the nut up and tightening, which makes a compression attachment. NO LEAKS! Works the same on the other end where a T in fitting is provided to tap your incoming water line for the toilet. A Simple install. It looks OK when installed, but the main thing is it works really well! Water volume is controlled by a dial type valve you turn to the right to increase volume. If you want it sprays so hard it stings, but you have complete control over the velocity at which you spray your (ahem). Overall a good product that performs well. We are satisfied.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

Mrugesh K. Patel from Myrtle Beach, SC, USA - 5 out of 5.

I just returned from Asia where bidets are very common--at least, in most hotels. On my return to stateside, I had to have this hygenic gadget half the world is using. I've been browsing thru the 'net for full bidets but they're very expensive and require other work done like electrical and plumbing. This, MB110 bidet seat, is easy to install and operate. Quality build and ease of operation has prompted me to order more units for the other bathrooms in my home. And, the best part about this product is that it's Green. It reduces the toilet tissue usage drastically.
